Every year we’re the youngest team (or close to it) in the league. It’s always the same thing. We’re in a never-ending cycle of “Oh, well, we just need to develop these young guys and we’ll be good.” No. Stop it. Out of the top 10 teams with the OLDEST players, only ONE of them is below .500. We’re just a farm team for the rest of the NHL. Look what Eichel, Reinhart and Ullmark are doing right now (I’m sure there are others). We waste talent and they go to other teams and thrive. STOP going to games. STOP buying their merch.
