This is definitely bad news for the Hurricanes and for Svechnikov himself. To be honest, it’s not going to stink as much as people might think it would but it’s unfortunate that his growth is being slowed down for the next 6 months. I hope he gets better and gets out on the ice as fast as possible.

Evgeny Svechnikov of the Red Wings is the one that had the surgery, not Andrei.
