Does this necessarily mean anything for Gio? We’ve got 7 defensemen in Rielly, Brodie, McCabe, Liljegren, Timmins, Lagesson, and Benoit, maybe we just don’t feel a need to keep Lajoie up doing nothing when he could be getting into games in the AHL.
