Thanks for reminding me how old I am. It really sucks that era team couldn’t get it done. Montreal was just fucking beast mode too. Gretzky era…..so on. My dad had started watching again in 90/91 after swearing off the team in the late 80’s because of Ballard. He started watching after Ballard died again and thats when I started watching the Leafs too. Then we got those few years of amazing playoff runs.

Always surprising to me as a fan from after this era that Gilmour only played just over a quarter of his NHL games with the Leafs and spent most of his NHL career elsewhere, considering how much of a legend he is for the team.

Old school fan here. Saw Manderville skate by at the end of the last clip, saw that guy play in college and get a Juniors gold before leaving for Olympic silver and his stint on the Leafs.
He was solid for the few seasons we had him.
