Sad to hear the Nolan news. It always sucks to see careers cut short by injuries. A lot of great players from that '17 draft in the top 10, it's too bad he'll never be one of them.
I personally hate that NJ is going to play the LTIR game, but clearly the league (owners) don't care about a hard cap. Everyone else is doing it – so here we are. I'd prefer they look for 2/3 solid role players to add instead of one big fish. They need D help, goalie depth, and a solid third liner could help some of the production lost from Timo playing through injury rn.
I'll never forgive Nathan MacKinnon for that hit that ended his career. Like yeah, he had a long history, and if it weren't MacKinnon it would have been someone, but it was a clear cheap shot and pretty scummy.

I have never watched PLD being a kings fan before we got him but from what Iāve seen he just seems lazy as hell when playing and doesnāt put his 100% out there every game.

I think the issue with Dubois is that they got him in case Koptar slowed down, and Kopitar… just hasn't slowed down at all. Bit weird to be paying $8M a year to a guy who's essentially an insurance policy, but, well, such is life on a good team.

Dubois is joke. Blakes gave out that $8.5m X 7 contract is clown world Kovalchuk style. He does NOT have a NMC which I cannot believe. He is hiding behind Kopy & Danault, IF one of them were not there, he would then finally be torched by the media and by fans. A winning record also hides the fact of how bad he has been. Sure TMAC could move him up with better players like he had on WPG, but he is invisible. Awesome team, but $5m or less is his worth. That trade and signing going to look bad sooner than later.
I think they said Hischier played his 400th game the other day. Nolan missed out on so much. I feel bad for Nolan that it never turned out ok. As a Flyers fan, I'm still frustrated they took him over Makar.
