Once I saw how he was able to get Toews’ under control after the playoff penalties, it really stuck out how well respected he was as the locker room leader. I remember reading stories during the Stanley Cup celebrations when they’d bar hop, Seabs was always the dad of the group. Would just be posting up at a table and every one came to him. Always got the sense that he’d make an awesome coach.
