Well, it seems like we're really good at helping ount Alberta hockey teams and ending bad streaks.
Overall I'm actually not too suprised about this season.
To me, unless our young guys are going through the roof(which they aren't with even Beniers struggling) this is one of the most mediocre rosters in the whole league(hence a "playoff bubble team") with a bunch of good players(and I love those Gourde's, Larssons's etc.) but no exceptional players.
Those teams have two options. They can aither click(like last season) and get on a roll to about 90 – 100 points and make the playoffs.
Or they aren't clicking as much(for various reasons) and will end up in the 70 – 80(ish) point range missing out on the playoffs but still drafting in the 10 – 15 range.
I think this season's Kraken team(unless they somehow go on a heater) is more in the 2nd option of things and will show you glimpses of good play(and wins against good teams) and then somehow lose games leaving you totally irritatef of what just happened.
Overall I'm still curious to see what Francis moves will be given that I doubt ownership wants him to "blow it up" as they're trying to renew season tickets for the first time ever etc.
