Everyone seems to think our interest is in Sean Walker but people on a Flyers board think it may be for Frost, which makes sense. Frost was a healthy scratch earlier this year. I’ve been hoping they’d target a center.
The Flyers are in a weird spot, this season was supposed to be the start of a full on rebuild but they’re winning right now. I still think they trade off some pieces.
Travis Konecny could be someone the Flyers flip for haul to accelerate a rebuild process. His name was floated around earlier as a trade candidate. This would be a swing for the fences type move from Chevy, a type of move that would be very unlike him.
If the Jets do make a move with Philly, who do you prefer their target to be?

I wonder if Flyers players feel anxious knowing they might possibly be dealt to the Jets… anyways a nice d-man would be ideal.
Konency has another year left on his deal so I could see Chevy sniffing around there. Personally I think depending how they see Vilardi for the rest of the year position wise, a hired gun in the top 6 isn’t outlandish. I would rather upgrade the D2 pairing but if you’re just going to add a filler D5 type then just increase firepower instead.
Anyone else wonder if it’s Tippett? Low cost, turned a corner last year on a bad team and his metrics numbers are pretty good.
I wonder what they want for Stanley?
I would be interested in Walker or Sanheim. I think our forward group is deep enough as is, but our d core needs an upgrade in a big way.
I could see a heinola for sanheim deal
Give me Konecny or give me death
I’d love to see Couturier in a Jets uniform but I would not love to see what that would cost us.
Two up and coming teams that the league underestimated.
Too much is being read into this. With the Flyers doing well in the standings, I would doubt that they are going to trade for players that are producing.
Konecky already has 16 goals this year, trade talk with him is a non-starter.
Sanheim or Seeler, or I don’t want any part of a trade with the Flyers.
With Heinola, Schmidt, Stanley, Chisholm I dont see another D man coming unless a couple move out. Konecny is the prime target imo but Frost the most realistic as Chevy wouldn’t have to give up as much.
I would guess that Phi has made a specific player available and that the asking price is reasonable enough for the Jet’s to be considering it.
Everyone is saying Walker but the Jets have been historically linked to Ristolainen. He’s having a bounce back season and if Schmidt is going the other way or there’s significant salary retention I could see it being a fit, despite the fact that before this season he was straight-up *bad*.
