[Griffith] I just spoke with Andrei Kuzmenko’s Agent Dan Milstein and asked him about his client and the recent scratches with the Canucks, “There is absolutely no disconnect between the coaching staff, management, and our camp. We communicate daily…” 1/2

Both Dan and Kuz have had a really good attitude towards the benchings and trying to improve together with the coaching staff. Makes me hopeful they will figure this out.

Man that’s a great statement compared to some others. Rooting for Kuzy!

Come on Kuz, I got your jersey, do something!! I have hope that he’ll figure it out, get back on the first line and go on a tear and get at least 30 goals this year

  4. You don’t trade a guy when he’s at his lowest. He’s maybe the last guy who should be shopped. I mean obviously no one is trading Miller or Boeser right now but can you imagine how much more they’re worth now as opposed to last season?

Keep Kuzmenko. Figure it out. Play him with EP40 vs the Sharks, see if he gets his confidence back.

  5. It’s always nice when a teams AGM speaks up to reassure a fanbase

I still believe in Kuzzy. When he’s scored this year it’s looked lethal. He just needs to figure out where to be on the ice

All Kuzy has to do is down a couple Red Bulls, get pissed and forecheck like a monster. Be relentless. That’s all. 😅

People forget this guy is still adjusting to the NHL … he spent his whole life playing in Russia and it doesn’t happen overnight.

  9. At this point I think it’s pretty clear that Kuzy isn’t a Tocchet type player. Kuzy wants to do fancy spin moves and trick shots while slacking on the back check. That’s the type of player Tocchet would have crunched into the boards in his playing days.

If he plays this inconsistent next season then I’ll worry. All this yapping is a big nothing burger this season.

Kuzmenko is really just missing the forecheck tenacity. That can be taught. But you can’t really teach someone to score 39 goals in this league. Let’s be patient.

I want Kuzy to do well but I hope when the off-season comes that he trains properly and not repeat the “*Bali Weight Loss Program*”. Maybe train with Boeser?

  13. Considering how many clients he has on the team, daily seems about right.

Tough to put all the blame on Kuz when he was playing with Petey. Petey was playing like shit, yes he was getting points but the eye test said something different. Give Kuz a chance on that line again. He can be very effective down low and that line has showed chemistry in the past

One of the most unlikable players we’ve had and he’s next level annoying, but selling low like this or not working through this would be a bad mistake.

Sure sounds more reasonable than Mr. Asshole Supreme Allan Walsh. He’d be posting some shitty Photoshop of Kuzmenko being stabbed in the back or something.

This is a relief and great to hear! What a positive attitude.
