This team needs discipline in their game. But if there is not a buy in by the veterans, give the rookies playing time.
I'm sounding like a damn broken record. The Wings need leadership. They have none. There is no unity. They are not playing hard. They are not playing for 60 minutes. Leadership starts with coaching. And they'll need to get rid of Lalonde after the end of this season if the Wings don't make the playoffs. I've said it before and I'll say it again ——- the Wings don't have much respect for the head coaching. Too many odd man runs into their zone. There offense doesn't communicate well at all. Seider, as I've said before, has blown assignments consistently. Wings need good defense and need to be aggressive on the boards, as well as get some of their big players in front of the net. They need to learn to play like a team, not like individuals. Looks like they're playing for individual performances, and not as a team. They are also passing the puck way too much during their power plays. Wings are just not gelling well. Wings need to get in front of the opposing goal and put the puck in the net. They don't know how to control the puck either. I am not happy with this head coach they have. Lalonde doesn't seem to have a handle on this team and think he needs to go if this streakiness continues….
