Hey Gil. I turned in late in the 1st, missed what happened to him but I think they shoulda tried to trade him anyway, his defense seriously lacked last season and they have Atleast 2 other left handed D that can replace him. Guess we get too see those guys now
Hi Gil, rough news to hear about Adam Pelech, hopefully he can recover sooner than expected. NY Islanders do rely a lot on their defense identity and grit. I think GM Lou Lamarillo held a press conference earlier in the day, and Islanders picked up Mike Reilly off of waivers. The bottom line is the NY Islanders need to try and pull together a win streak now since the metro division is very competitive. No room for error or losing streaks in NHL because of lots of good teams out there now. NY Islanders still I think need to try and sign a couple of big name signings or bring in a couple of players that have played on Stanley Cup winning teams in recent years. I read Lou picked up Mike Reilly on waivers from (I think) Florida
