The team is tired, losing, demotivated and falling rapidly in the standings.
This is the perfect time to bring up Berggren and Edvinsson.

Nothing brings me more joy than seeing Leaf’s fans implode after their “cup winning” monstrosity of a roster loose 9-3 to the 2023 Buffalo Sabres.
A win against the Flyers would be a great bonus, LGRW!

Even after this slump, we’re still 4th in the Atlantic by points% but still out of a wildcard spot. Never expected the Metro to be this competitive.

It’ll be big to get Perron back. I know he looks like a donkey and takes dumb penalties when he’s a little off his game, but I think he has a much bigger impact on puck possession and zone entires than many people realize (even when he’s off his game). Obviously when he’s hot, the scoring is top notch. It’ll be impact to add back another guy that sees the game well and helps get into the zone. It’ll spread out that ability too since Kane also does that very well and they likely won’t play together
