  1. I like what Kane has brought to our team so far. While I like and appreciate how far the boys have come in the four years since Stevie took the reins, Kane's skill and playmaking ability are greater than the current roster's ability to handle those passes, for the most part. I do hope the boys catch up and become better able to handle those passes. Kane could have more points too if the intended recipient had received the pass, rather than flub it.

  2. Kane may have "silky" mitts, but Datsyuk had silky mitts AND Selke mitts. This team is seriously looking terrible right now defensively from the forwards to the defensemen. What's going to save this team right now isn't going to be Kane hitting more net and less posts, it's going to be the team figuring out how play a full 60 minutes without getting steamrolled defensively. They also really need the goaltending to be consistent at the same time, it seems like when one is on the other is off.

  3. He's been doing great. Everyone else not named Seider or Kane not so much. Looks like Lalonde actually putting out a DeBrincat-Larkin-Kane line tonight. Perron back tonight as well, so I'm hoping they can right the ship.

  4. People keep talking about how bad the Wings are with Kane. The thing is, it has nothing to do with him. Defensive collapse and goaltending have been an issue all season. They've been coasting on high offensive output to stay above water, but as we've seen, SO many games have ended up 6-5 when Detroit had a 4 g lead. It's coincidence that teams have figured out how to capitalize on Detroit's defensive lapses at the same time Kane joined the team. Pair that with a huge offensive slump from everyone not named Kane and we're pretty much where we thought we'd be at the start of the season.

  5. Why is this even a question,he’s been our best player since his debut. He’s the only one creating better offense not saying he’s the only one creating offense,he’s creating better offense,he’s getting assists and points so give me a break on this stuff people blame kane for there slump cause they’re delusional when they think he’s the problem.
