  1. What we don’t talk about is how slaf has an absolute cannon on that right slot on the pp but Matheson won’t feed him

  2. I always post my review of the game before you guys do. The problem I’ve noticed is we’re all three saying a lot of the same things. It makes it look like I’m just writing down what you guys have said. I swear I post before watching the videos. Hahaha!!! 😂👊🏻

  3. This may be a generational perspective but Slavkofski should sit down and be exposed to old videos of Phil Esposito in front of the net he'll get it

  4. 2nd comment i just had to mention this. Anderson went with no goals on goalies in 29 games. From game 30 to now hes had 4 goals 1 assist in 4 games. Hes really making an effort to turn his season around and he is. Even if he dosent score 30 like i was hoping 20 goal seasons is never bas.

  5. Good last 40min. Going in the Christmas break on good note. But next 4 games will be tough. If we can get 3-4pts out of 8, it will keep us in the hunt. If not, well…

  6. Bonjour ahoj! I'm super glad that you believing in Slafzilla is paying off. This was the same for us in the national team. He was doing good things but it took a while and a good coach to unleash him. I also am subbed since Slafs draft so around 3k and hope to see you guys get to much higher numbers.

  7. Im actually impressed with Slafkovsky hockey IQ, great vision. He really starts to look like a legit 1st overall pick. He ain't a Bedard or Celebrini but the physical and size aspect he brings on the table is definitely a good thing, especially on the 1st line with 2 smaller guys in Caufield Suzuki

  8. People here laughed at me when I said last week that "Slaf has gone from a player who didn't keep his head up and paid for it to a force to be reckoned with."
Who's laughing now? The boy is growing by leaps and bounds. I'm waiting for him to drop the gloves and we all KNOW that time is coming soon.
Merry Christmas and all the best to everyone here for the holidays and into the new year!
By the way…LOVE that you incorporated the Big O into the new logo. Looks so cool!!

  9. Great to see Slaf really beginning to grow into a solid all-around player. Great hockey IQ, no lack of skill, and that size and strength and speed is really something special. Maybe the rebuild will be okay after all.

On the other hand, I'm more concerned about Caufield's regression every game. He only played 13 minutes tonight, so the coaching staff is obviously not seeing good things from him either. We may be able to 'contend' at some point without him being our consistent "40/50 goal sniper" like everyone was predicting before his injury, but we do need to be able to rely on him for 25-30. If not, that's a huge wasted 8 mill against our salary cap, because he doesn't offer much else. 😬😐

  10. Slovak fan here for match reviews, gotta wake up at 2.30 am to see Juraj play tho ;D Hitting that subscribe button!

  11. Anderson’s goal is his, great read and positioning but, it was all Evans. Keep Evans and Honda Civic and we win a cup. Trade ‘em and we don’t for longer.

  12. i don't understand why the goal was called offside. All replays i saw show clearly it was onside. And even if it would not have been 100% conclusive it wasnt onside, should still be.

  13. That will be his bread and butter, he's not gonna be a fancy player, or have a laser of a shot, he will have to be a tough player that crashes the net and get the loose pucks and tips, he's a big body, and will most likely get bigger, has to use that to his advantage.

  14. Jayden Struble just put a hammerlock on staying in the NHL. Struble isn't going to be sent down. Which means Arber Xhekaj is going to have to wait for an injury to come back up. Struble is just a stud and I think the Habs most consistent defenseman. What a revelation Struble is. Very impressed with him.

  15. Habs fans constantly called Slaf a bust and constantly said we should have picked Cooley I swear most of the Habs fans hated on this kid and now love him 😂😂😂 all I saw in video comment sections was negative comments about Slaf when he was struggling last season and early this season and now all of a sudden everyone loves him 🤦🏼‍♂️ this fan base is crooked they never use their eyes they are always short sighted I constantly said Slaf is struggling but it will come he has lots of potential and most fans on these videos all said “bust” “worst pick since Yakupov” “Cooley is better” etc. it’s so frustrating to see all these cheerful comments because I feel like most of them are fake they see the good developing properly and on a path to reach his potential and now fans are realizing how short sighted they were so now Slaf is a god 💀… I’ve always loved Slaf I’ve always said he could be a point per game player and maybe even more than that his potential is sky high because he has the size and skill to do things a regular sized player cannot and if he puts it together he could pile up points like Rantanen in my opinion because I have not seen a young kid like this win battles and protect the puck since Rantanen and Slaf also protects the puck like Jagr in my opinion, Not saying Slaf is Jagr but he protects the puck similar to Jagr… call me crazy if you want but Slaf could put up big numbers like Rantanen if he puts it all together and continues to develop like this….

  16. Getting torn after this Blackhawks game and the few ones prior (even the OT loss). Things are clicking like we dreamt they would, but it's almost too soon. We're leaving struggling teams in the dust getting closer to Wild Card contention than to the dredge of the league, which is a very positive sign with this young core, but it might also quite severely impair our chances of getting the 1st round draft picking posish we'd need to fully complete that rebuilt. Big Moves will need to happen sooner than later.

  17. Hot take: Slaf will catch up to Cooley in points by the end of the season (sad part is, he would be ahead already by now, if Anderson started scoring sooner! But oh well)

  18. Slaf is just awesome, you could see after he scored that goal that he's happy he's being rewarded for going to the front of the net after being coached on it.

  19. Slaf is only 19 folks wait till he hits Suzuki and Caufield age . This guy is going to be a monster in the playoffs .

  20. Slafkovsky is turning into an NHL power forward right before our eyes. I wish him good health. Reminds me of a young John LeClair.

  21. I was ticked at the linesmen holding Struble while he was getting feed lefts. He made a great save though.
