That game was not good for my cardiovascular health

Still don’t understand our OT strategy, but Vasy kept us in the game for the shootout. Heddy’s attempt in the shootout specialized in efficiency over beauty haha
Big 2 points there. Huge credit to Vasy. This team hasn’t been given many opportunities to grind out games when the offense hasn’t been there but he gave them a chance to squeak out a 2-1 dub tonight. Looking sharper and sharper
2 points and we didn’t give up a million goals, I’ll take that as a W going to the break.

I remember the announcers during the game saying the last10 games were under three goals allowed? Tangible improvement. Feels good to win a defensive grind game like this. Plus, we needed those two points desperately. Tied with Washington now. I’m hoping this is an “Identity win”

Vas was insane. But man our offense and defense looked uninspired. If we had any goalie not named Vas we would’ve lost. Seemed like Caps were smothering us and we gave them open lanes. Solid win regardless but just my observations
What an amazing game. It really felt like a solid team effort. Let’s hope the boys are finally starting to hit their strides and coops dialed in the perfect line combos.

If we win and Ottawa wins on the 27th, we are 2nd in the Atlantic division. Granted Fla has 2 and Tor has 4 games in hand respectively but with a light January schedule I think things are starting to look on the up and up for us
