Mike Smoth does an amazing save on a nice deke by Datsyuk in shootout.

  1. @CoreyPerrySucks umm. if that glove wasn't there that puck was going top shelve. Datsyuk is just usually used to a gaping net. But, if you look at this same move on previous attempts his shot goes in at the same angle.
And you can tell it was going to be roofed. Too bad the glove got in the way.

    Amazing save.

  2. Smith probably did his research and knew what was coming from Dats. However, he failed to do his research on Bert's signature move.

  3. hey guys! check out my channel to see funny sledding vids so maybe like or favorite them but more importantly WATCH them!! thanks!

  4. @CoreyPerrySucks but you gotta give smith some credit that he didn't completely fall for the deke. watch vokoun and turco on that – they are somewhere at the opposite sideboard as the puck is shot. even i as a wings fan have no problem in complimenting smith on the save.

  5. He's done this move successfully for over half a decade. It was bound to be saved by an NHL goalie sooner or later.

  6. Smitty? Suck on that? It'll be funnier when Phoenix won't have a team by next year and he'll be out of a job.

  7. Also Zetteberg got him back the next they met I believe which was pretty funny, cause Babcock was so unfazed by it.

  8. I'm not saying this wasn't a good save but Datsyuk didn't lift the puck as high as he usually did on the deke from what I see so I would say Mike Smith got lucky?
