Dylan Larkin was down and out after this play involving Mathieu Joseph and Parker Kelly. After an initial major penalty review on Joseph, the officials reduced the penalty and gave both players a minor penalty for roughing (Detroit’s David Perron also received a match penalty for a retaliatory crosscheck). Were the roughing minors appropriate? Have your say!

Clean.
Principal point of contact from both was the head. I don’t know in what world that’s ok. Basically got punched twice.
Very unlucky incident. I think you can make a case for a major penalty on Joseph, but it doesn't seem malicious to me. Perron should get at least 5 games.

Call on the ice mostly correct. Should have both gotten double minor for roughing, since it caused injury, but it wasn't malicious. Larkin just got sandwiched. Unfortunate. Perron's hit, on the other hand, was as obvious an attempt to injure as I've ever seen.
