That’s ok. Every team that’s entered the league since then has won as many or more series than Toronto in that time frame.

Well the Leafs haven’t made the finals since they last won in 1967, and back then they had fewer rounds in the playoffs – so that makes sense. What is actually surprising is that there were 3 rounds back in 1935…

I thought the leafs had never won 3 rounds before

The Habs’ last 40 goal scorer was 30 years ago. Matthews is on pace to hit it before the All-Star Break

Back in 1935 there were 9 teams, and 3 rounds in the playoffs, with the top team in the division getting a bye in the first round.

In the 6 team league there were only two rounds in the playoffs. So this is more of a historical glitch than a ”Toronto sucks” thing.

Just for the record, Toronto does suck.

Makes sense. Not surprised Toronto is becoming a basketball town.

Sportsnet – home of the leafs. (Also fuck them Leafs) 😂

  8. But the Leafs won the Stanley Cup in 62, 63,, 64 and 67. So they have won 3 playoff rounds more recently than 1932

Every original six team has color footage of their last Stanley Cup win, except for one

It’s baseball offseason, so all the weirdo analysts migrate to other sports.

My favorite was the NFL Thanksgiving game that said Lions were 0-12 (now 0-13) on Thanksgiving when the moon was in a waxing gibbous.
