An Early Look at the Trade Deadline Market in the East

An Early Look at the Trade Deadline Market in the East

Welcome back all right talked about the West now we’re going to talk about the east as again trade deadline is March the 8th and we’re going to be doing a lot of discussions on who’s going to move and who’s not but I just look at the ufas and the rfas because once you

Get into everybody else who might get traded basically you can just fill the board with names and it just becomes total chaos so I’m trying to keep this simple we’ll start off with Montreal again teams in a random order even more random in this one than the last one uh

The ufas for Montreal are Monahan Stevens Pearson and Weidman Pearson of course injured currently Weidman I believe as well has I don’t think weidman’s played this year uh Stevens has come up played R right and Monahan’s been pretty good so the question becomes do you keep Monahan do you trade Monahan

And it really may very well depend on how the team plays from here they are four points out of the playoffs so it depends on whether Hughes wants to say you know what we’re going to uh lean into the fact that we’re still in the rebuild or you know what we might as

Well go for it and see if we can get ourselves into the playoffs so there their RFA list uh anen who’s been good um and I saw him getting uh thrown up I think he was on the first line by the end of their last game there and I don’t

Blame them for putting him higher up in the lineup when they’re looking for energy anul and’s good guy to get that from uh Lindstrom who’s been solid and baron who’s an excellent young defenseman we’ll see how many years they give Baron and and what they see in him

Uh their cap space currently shows us $2,475 th000 so there’s some cap space there and again they’re four points out of the playoffs so Montreal is going to be fun to watch Buffalo uh so I’m wearing Buffalo so I wore Seattle and the other one cuz I felt like Seattle was the team

Was probably the most disappointing of the ones out west I’m wearing Buffalo cuz probably the most disappointing in the East we would not have envisioned them selling but here we are there’s seven points out of the playoffs their UFA list Olson I think would be available uh ooso he’s the captain I

Don’t think he’s going anywhere uh Jo gurgenson I don’t think gurgenson is going anywhere either uh Robinson who they just picked up not too long back uh Eric Johnson and comry Eric Johnson I think would probably be available at the deadline should they uh remain far enough out of the playoffs that they

Decide they’re going to sell uh I would think teams would be interested in Johnson for his experience and for his Stanley cering as well uh then there’s their RFA list middlest stad who’s had a very good year how much is that worth him for how long Krebs uh he’s a good

Young player Yoki Haru good young defenseman Lucan good young goenda phas next summer as well their cap space there’s a lot of it 12,384 45 so Buffalo has cap space yes middle stead’s going to get a raise Lucan and is going to get a raise over

What he’s making but there’s still a lot of cap space here so they can get creative at the deadline and if they want they can bring somebody in uh but yeah Buffalo of course was rumored to be a potential destination for Patrick Kane that did did not work out I don’t think

They’d be any closer to the playoffs if they had signed Kane so New Jersey their UFA list to Foley tyrany Miller uh Brandon Smith and noek now um will will the New Jersey Devils be in buying mood I think they’re already in a buying mood when it comes to a

Goenda fo’s on an expiring contract if you find yourself still three points out of the playoffs at the deadline what do you do right uh rfas McLoud Merc mer and Schmid uh Mercer’s been good I don’t know if he’s going to get a huge raise this year I don’t think so but that

Being said it depends on whether they go with a short-term Bridge deal or a long-term deal for Mercer and again Schmid they Envision him as the future starter so it’ll be interesting to see what he gets uh the Cav space and showed last year uh they have that

Ability to to perform well in the playoffs and go on nice little runs so New Jersey is one that I think could end up really jump starting the trade deadline much like the Islanders did last year Islanders are done here uh yeah the Islanders last year jump

Started with the Horvat deal and I could see New Jersey doing that uh with an acquisition or a trade of some sort where maybe it’s a hockey trade because again they only have the one and a half million in cap space so maybe you make a hockey trade whereas dollar out do in

Boston fascinating team Boston they are first in the Atlantic however they’ve been middling over their last 10 they’re 43 and three so only four wins in their last 10 and their UFA list is interesting de Brusque who it feels like with Jake de Brusque you have feast or

Famine and right now it’s kind of a famine thing and I I don’t know how much longer he’ll be a bruin did they resign him do you keep him uh James Van rdik who was just in on a one-year deal same with Heinen uh grizzli grizzli I don’t

Think has had a great year but he’s been dealing with injuries as well what is he worth shaton Kirk forbert and of course Lich who’s only played the four games he’s currently of course dealing with criminal proceedings and everything don’t expect him back with the Bruins but uh there are some interesting

Decisions for this team to make once we once we get to the trade deadline their RFA list is dominated by Jeremy Swan who has been a dominant goenda you have boquist on the list as well so nobody else is going to get a big race but yeah swan is going to get

Paid and I think it should be a long-term deal I think Swan’s earned it the cap space for Boston $3,782 500 a lot of discussions about whether or not they’re going to be in on Elias Lindholm that is very well possible but we’ll see right uh they’re

Again first in the Atlantic they’re four points ahead of both Toronto and Florida uh Toronto uh definitely in in in the process of catching up to them uh Toronto is 52 and three in their last 10 so they have 13 points points in their last 10 Boston has 11 points in their

Last 10 whereas for Florida uh they’re five and five they have 10 points in their last 10 so the three teams at the top of the Atlantic interesting to say the least uh then you have Tampa Bay now Tampa Bay’s heated up recently so while they’re the

Number two wild card they are only one point behind Florida so maybe Tampa Bay jumps into a top three spot after all their UFA list is of course dominated by Stam Co does Stam Co stay how much does he get questions we want answers to uh

The team not you know close to a deal with them at this point but I still think it happens I’d be very surprised if Sam Coast leaves uh mot Walt Watson Dean bar Boule flurry and Brent Cook’s contract comes to an end this coming summer so Brent seberg can officially be

Retired this coming summer are your restricted free agents kke Logan Brown there’s nobody here who’s going to make a ton of extra money uh the team does not have cap space $775,000 according to cap friendly so again they’re the number two wild card they’re tied with Washington and they are

Onepoint back of Florida in the overall standings uh so yeah the Atlantic division we’re not set as to who the top three are going to be as of yet and for Tampa Bay who are seven and three in their last 10 uh they’re catching up to

The teams in front of them uh Pittsburgh they have an interesting UFA list because are the Pittsburgh Penguins going to sell if the Pittsburgh Penguins can’t get closer to the Five Points out that they are right now what do you do at the deadline if here Kyle DUIs not an

Easily answered question their ufa’s Jake gensel gel’s going to get paid gel’s a goal scorer in a league where goal scorers make a lot of money right uh Carter uh Carter hasn’t had a great year this may very well be his final season so do you try to rent him out at

The deadline if that’s the case Harkin henestrosa zah Horna depth forwards Ru Weedle depth defenseman and N delovic in net so gel’s the big question mark here we’ll see if he’s still a penguin I would think he will be I think that there’ll be some some feedback uh from

Mal and Crosby and others who are in that leadership group that will be taken into consideration I don’t see gansel going anywhere then on the RFA front you have po Joseph you have Pon in as well who’s looked good in his call up uh cap space they have

$3,650 th000 in cap space and again they’re Five Points out of a playoff spot Philadelphia the biggest surprise in the positive normally when I use the the gritty gritty magnets it’s because things are goofy in Philadelphia but it’s goofy good right now in Philadelphia uh their UFA list Shawn

Walker who I think has been a good addition for them Mark stall no points but it’s Mark stall you get one or two points you’re happy um I think he has one assist two assists one one assist so far this year uh Seer who is I think

Playing pretty well for them too so they’ve had a better Blue Line than expected all three of those defenseman uh restricted for agents Carter Hart is due this coming summer so what does heart get and for how long and with all the rumors last summer about har being

Traded those rumors have all died off as expected when a team does better than expected you have zamula on the blue line and then you have tippet paling and Brink up front Bobby Brink’s been excellent uh I would think at least a three or four year deal I don’t know if

You want to go Bridge deal there because I I think the sky is the limit and then with tippet uh probably 3 four year deal paling probably a one or twoyear deal but with their cap space being 3 million2 $1 4,383 there’s some some space there if

They want to make a move they are third in the Metro one point behind the New York Islanders so the Flyers very surprisingly good and a solid looking team uh when I’m watching them play now I’m not thinking well they’re they’re they’re batting above where they should

Be and it’s going to come down to no they’re they’re playing well Columbus Columbus is going to be interesting their UFA list is short gun who’s a call up of course Martin who is now that number three now that teraso is back rosik who’s been injured but there’s been a lot of rumors

With rosik too on what his status is with the team if Ross’s healthy by deadline and he’s okay with being traded out and they want to move him I would think there’ll be teams that are are interested the restricted free agent list is interesting because you got

Marenko who’s been I think their most consistent forward throughout the season thus far uh singer bemstrom chikov who’s been very good on that same line with marenko bean and blankenberg on the blue line so there’s some some young guys there some players that do need to have uh decent extensions and if you’re

Columbus you got to be smart about it they cap space 4,253 57 point or $957 and they’re 11 points out of the playoffs so for Columbus playoffs very very highly unlikely your 11 points out we’re about halfway through the season the odds of making up that distance it it just becomes too

Much of a tall task so then the question becomes if you’re the general manager do you just full on say we’re going to sell off guys who are ufas and maybe you’re going to make other guys available too because those three ufas don’t really move the needle at all I don’t think

There’s a market for gauns I like gauns but I would understand there isn’t U Marton I think there’s more of a market now than there was when the Canucks waved him before the season got started and rosik I think there’ll be a market but let me know your thoughts uh the New

York Rangers their UFA list Blake wheeler who of course came in on a one-year deal uh Bonino Tyler pitlick brozinsky gustofson and quick so there’s nobody here that that the Rangers if they were to leave at the end of this season that Rangers fans or the Rangers would be necessarily panicked with um

Although Jonathan Quick’s been very good at all at this point in his career too how much longer is he going to play before he says yeah no I’m going to hang him up uh then the restricted free agent list you got kako Lindgren and Schneider lingren is going to be interesting to

Watch lingren is a very good defensive defenseman uh shot blocker some toughness and and if he’s injured and not in a game it means he’s got a limb hanging off or something because I have remarked many times over about how he gets hurt and you watch him leave a game

And you’re like he’s not coming back and he comes right back he maybe misses the shift uh kcko on the other hand is this kac’s last year with the Rangers do they maybe move him if he’s still not advancing as an offensive forward and Schneider’s going to get paid too he’s a

Very good solid defenseman for them cap space $ 6,537 500 they are first in the Metro six points clear the New York Islanders so some nice breathing room for them at top the division uh the Florida Panthers the UFA list is long it’s an extensive list cousins Lawrence stenland Oliver

Ekman LaRon who of course came over from the kucks I think he’s done a good job of having a bounceback year for Florida lomberg Montour Montour very good since his return as well forsling so basically if it’s a defenseman they might be up uh kulakov and then you’ve got stolar and

Of course the big name Reinhardt Reinhardt having an amazing career year which has to be frustrating for a GM because you’re watching this guy have a career year you’re seeing his his payday get a little bit bigger and bigger with every passing game and on some level you

Have to think he’s playing great right now but do we expect that going forward is he going to be that forward for the rest of his career or will we sign him to an eight-year extension and next year he has a letdown right so that’s that

Has to be where the the the thought process is at least at some level um so the red free agent list mahura Lindell uh and gagovic so nobody there is going to get a big raise Lindell it’ll be interesting to see what he gets cap space

2,256 se3 they are third in the Atlantic not that far ahead of Tampa of course but they’re tied with Toronto and their Four Points back at Boston so those top four in the Atlantic pretty close could finish in any order uh Detroit who would like to get back into you know playoff

Discussions and considerations and they’re not that far out three points isn’t that big a deal uh but they need to turn it around now their UFA list is interesting you have Pon you have Kane I would not be surprised to see this be Kane’s last season I wouldn’t be

Surprised to see this end up being prawns last season so do you use that as like a rallying cry to get this team into the playoffs and get those guys another cup uh Pon trying to think yeah he has the cup from St Louis right I he

Missed the cup in Vegas I’m pretty sure but he got the cup in St Louis I believe uh and Kane of course has some cups from when he was in Chicago then you got sprong who’s been very good Fisher gos despair who’s had a good year for

Detroit as well uh Rhymer and Hutchinson also on there Hutchinson just signed and and again uh just one year rest of the year kind of thing and so with Detroit’s three goenda once lion and whoo are available who do you keep and with the fact that rymer’s on an expiring

Contract is he become the odd man out uh then your RFA list you’ve got cider so marit cider Believers are going to say he deserves a certain amount and and we’ll see whether or not he gets as much as he might want and what that’s going to look like what cider’s contract is

Going to look like does it end up being in a similar range as say Jake sanderson’s right does he end up with a similar contract as that uh rasmon Raymond Raymond’s had a very good run after a slow start and valeno I think has been solid for them as well so

There’s some young guys here they have to make decisions on this summer I trust Eiserman I still trust the iser plan uh their c space a little over 4 million $ 4,324 and again they’re three points out of the playoffs I don’t think it’s as

Bad in Detroit as their 27 in one record over their last 10 might state but I I do understand some of the the negativity I see around the wings at this point the the okay are we just going to be a playoff team now feeling I understand I

Get it uh which brings me to Ottawa where feelings kind of sort of the same and yet they’re 15 points out of a playoff spot yeah there’s some games in hand on teams they chasing but 15 points is still 15 points uh there UFA list is short it’s tereno kubalik and chier

Tereno has been good so if he decides to come back for another year I don’t think fans or management are going to mind uh KUB a little bit up and down uh Char is a fourth liner and then your restricted free agents Kelly and branstrom there’s been discussions about whether or not

Brandstrom is going to stay in Ottawa long term uh and of course for cap space they have some they have 7, 225,000 in cap space but again 15 points out of the playoffs uh they they’re coach has changed their GM’s changed they have the new owner it it just really feels like

There’s going to be some kind of a reset with the auto organization going forward and I have no idea if that reset is going to be geared towards let’s beef up this lineup and see if we can make a push or selling off assets and saying all right we’ll try to get things

Started for next year which should be upsetting for Ottawa fans even if they understand it still this is supposed to be the era of unparalleled success for the Ottawa senator it has not happened Washington their UFA list they have mantha Obe kubel Edmonson and petti patchet of course has yet to make his

Season debut but it doesn’t sound like it’s that far off uh their restricted free agents sandine who is I think a solid pickup from Toronto McMichael who’s had a good year protus has been good uh Phillips had a good start offensively he’s fallen off a bit there

And malen Stein who I think gives them a good effort every night there’s nobody here’s going to get a big money contract in July but I do like the potential with protus with McMichael and on some level malen Stein as well you might have some late bloomers in

Washington and then when we get into the cap space argument which means I have to write the number on the board uh it’s $8,885 th000 in cap space for for Washington so the Caps have some cap to cap off their team with new caps I’ll stop sorry U yeah they’re the number one

Wild Card surprisingly and they’re only one point behind Philadelphia and they’re tied with Tampa Bay in those Wild Card spots so Washington’s in good shape do they add they have the cap space to add so who do you add and where uh then we look at the Islanders their

UFA list you have Clutterbuck you have Martin you have Riley bzo AO nobody there is going to get a huge raise so uh some cost certainty going forward I would think for them restricted free agents just two walstrom and Holstrom Holstrom has been very good this year walstrom another kind of frustrating

Back and forth I I don’t know if walstrom ends up being an Islander long term I don’t get the feeling that that’s necessarily going to be the case uh but their c space 3.8 million exactly they’re second in the Metro division six points back of the New York Rangers one

Point ahead of the Philadelphia Flyers and again regardless of how they’re getting their points they’re getting them they’re in a playoff spot and it still feels like the Islanders haven’t played their best hockey yet so that’s that’s the bad news for the rest of the East is it feels like the Islanders are

Just getting their feet wet and starting to get comfortable uh Toronto at least because they’ve been playing better lately than they were earlier in the season season Toronto is going to be the place to watch and again people get tired of oh it’s Toronto coverage I get

It I totally do but there’s a lot of reason to talk about Toronto we start with William neander he is going to get paid this summer and whenever I hear well he’s just having the one good year these are people I know haven’t necessarily paid a lot of attention to

Neander or pay into the or or re feed into the narrative that well he’s not good in the playoffs so and I I disagree with that assessment I think neander has not necessarily been the problem for Toronto in the playoffs there are various things with Toronto’s playoff

Performances uh but he’s got to get paid uh berzi and DOI both came in on one-year deals I don’t know if they’re going to be Leafs Beyond this season of the two Do’s I think the more likely to stay just feels like a more natural fit than berzi but we’ll see uh bobie

McMahon is popular with Leaf fans rightfully so he’s a UFA this coming summer uh Brody like aason on the blue line then you got samsonov and Jones uh yep both samsonov and Jones are on expiring contracts uh then you’ve got muzen Murray kingberg and girano all four on

Ltir so this is why when you mention they have cap space people raise their fists and ah they’re cheating the system they’re over the cap there’s a lot of teams on the board here that I’m showing with cap space that are using ltir to get there um and there’s lots of

Discussion about ltir right now and what the NHL should do the NHL does doesn’t really care I don’t think but I get why people get mad at it uh but they have 1, 63499 in cap space according to cap friendly and I appreciate they didn’t round up uh they’re second in the

Atlantic so they’re tied with Florida they are four points back of the Boston Bruins for that spot but yeah Toronto if if you don’t want to hear about Toronto I got bad news because we’re going to hear a lot about Toronto because they also have to sign rfas Robertson Gregor

Lilligren and benois so if Beno and Gregor are ones so we can say well they’ll they’ll get like league minimum how much does Robertson get does he get paid you know just for a oneyear deal is it going to be two uh and lilligren what do you give lilligren where do you

Envision him and how do you pay him going forward or is it just going to be a bridge deal as well and then we finish things off with the Carolina Hurricanes uh their UFA list is fascinating first you have Tavo terrain who would be a

Very popular topic on July 1st if we got there and with the fact that canes are outside of a playoff spot right now what do you do so if they stay one point below or just barely in or what do you do at the deadline and do you sign all

These guys longterm going forward Don woodell will be one to watch you have martinook you have Lemieux you have n and then on the blue line you have Shay Shay is going to be worth a lot of money he’s putting up a lot of points he might

Be their best defenseman who’s not named slaven right now um pesi D’Angelo are there as well there’s been a lot of talk about peshi maybe being traded still hasn’t happened yet and so he needs needs a new contract or to get shipped uh and again D’Angelo there’s been

Rumors about him being on the Block nothing’s happened yet Chatfield they’re going to want to keep Chatfield and I would think that Don woodell of the names on this board would at least be sitting down talking to chatfield’s agent if possible uh because it Chatfield shouldn’t be overly expensive

At this point and then you have Auntie Ron so Ron whose numbers have been not great uh he does have a motivator in that he’s on an expiring contract and so we’ll see if that does improve his performance perance going forward or not they restricted free agents you have jar

Jarvis nus and Drury NES having a bit of a Down year compared to what was expected I think Jarvis has been good and I like Jack jury their cap space right now 3, 35,5 182 and again they are one point out of a playoff spot there’s going to

Be at least one if not two or maybe even three teams that are good that we look at and say this team should be a playoff team could be a playoff team who will miss uh the east it’s definitely going to be some good teams that Miss in the

West it feels like that may not be the case uh but by the end of the year that that could change uh but let me know your thoughts as to who you think will be the buyers and sellers once we get to the trade deadline again that’s March

The 8th and again the team that jumps out and starts that that trade deadline Market sets the market and so they may very well make what could end up being the best trade uh by setting the market or maybe they end up looking back later

And saying oh that this going to be a mistake so who sets who sets the market let me know your thoughts in the comment section below as always don’t forget to hit like And subscribe if you have not done so already thank you guys so much

  1. I could see the Caps using some of that cap space to retain on a Kuznetsov trade and bringing in a big piece for the top six between age 23-29.
Theyll absolutely be keeping McMicheal and Malenstyn based on their play this year (Malenstyn is honestly a really solid underrated bottom 6 grinder) and possibly extending a short term LOW cap hit offer to Mantha the way hes been playing.

  2. Ottawa only has cap space right now because Chabot is injured. They don't have cap space once he returns.

  3. Ny islanders
NEED a Lw on first Line to Pair with Barzal & Horvat ( Nylander or Cane Player )
Wonder if Lou Can pull it off 🤔🧐🫡🍷🇵🇹

  4. Boston fan here from Florida. I think DeBrusk is on the way out. Will they make a pitch for Lindholm? He would be a big plus.

  5. So many teams need goalies, and the Capitals have Kuemper and Lindgren in the NHL, and Shepard and Stevenson both doing fantastic in the AHL. Should the Capitals trade one of those goalies?

  6. Anaheim and Toronto should make a deal. The Ducks have cap space and can afford Nylander. They have two young and cheap centres available. Plus they can trade Drysdale and another defensive prospect. Toronto gets younger, and cheaper. Maybe try to get Boston's 2nd round pick too?

  7. It would be ironic if Jake Gunsel went to the Caps for a draft pick but I'm beginning to think that's very possible. People have said "Washington and Pittsburgh are tied at the hip" for years, that no longer appears true. In fact they have opposite problems. The Pens can't win without high end talent bailing them out (ironically they're now the Leafs of the metro) and the Caps are all defence and a goalie tandem greater than the sum of its parts, being 31st in the league in "goals for". They need to bring in a goal scorer, Gunsel might be the best option of the free agents. If the Pens commit to a rebuild and their core is unwilling to be part of a rebuild (Doumalin already left), they might be interested in selling Gunsel at the deadline.

  8. I'd love to see the Capitals trade for Lindgren. It'd be fun to see the brothers as teammates, and the Capitals could use an upgrade to their defensemen. Maybe Sandin + Kuznetsov for Lindgren, with the Capitals paying some of Kuznetsov's salary?

  9. Pittsburgh's not gonna ship Guentzel off cuz they already went all-in during the summer with the Karlsson signing. I would think they'll try to sign Guentzel for $8-9mil times 8yrs…

  10. I think Boston definitely deals debrusk and draft picks with another player for a #1 center. My only concern would be winger depth but usually players can play top 6 roles well In Boston so I think that’s the best move for the team to stay competitive and retool well

  11. I feel like the LTIR issue is that there is no cap in the playoffs, and that has to change.

  12. Buffalo and Ottawa should just fold, and give in, and keep building for success in 5-6 years. There's nothing on their current list that is improving

  13. Some of the teams' listed cap space are a little misleading due to the needlessly confusing LTIR stuff. Like Rangers don't actually have 6 million in cap space right, they just have Chytil and Kakko on LTIR. Edit: I see you mentioned that later on in the video, so fair enough.

  14. Washington is in great shape going into the deadline. Its always better to have a scoring problem than a defensive or goaltending issue. Washington should be able to add a scorer and then as the playoffs start you have Leonard and Miroshnichenko join the roster as Black Aces.

  15. I would not mind Tarasenko hanging around in Ottawa for awhile, He and Batherson have great chemistry.

  16. I never got the DeBrusk hype. He’s had 2, maybe 3, good years and has been mediocre for the rest of his time. Very inconsistent player but who does have some value so Boston would be wise to cash in on him and try to upgrade their unit as a whole.

  17. I mean u can't say Buffalo is disappointing when their goalies are nothing special. That being said I hope they grab a goalie of some sort and move on from Skinner. Need a little retool and focus more on good two way play. Might as well flip Johsnson and Clifton…that hasent realt worked out.And for some reason I think they should look into adding depth scoring

  18. Rangers are missing one Right Wing power forward. What sucks is the fact, they don’t have the cap space and need to move a lot of assets to get that player who could potentially put them over the top.

  19. I hope the Flyers are sellers. I am very happy they are doing well so far this season, but they have some pieces that other teams will want come the trade deadline, which could net them some good prospects. The goal should be not necessarily making the playoffs this year, but building a strong, young team that could be a contender for a long time.

  20. How on earth is Toronto gonna keep Nylander? Everyone besides the top 4 would have to be on league minimum contracts or close.. or what am i missing?

  21. Carolina will make moves to stop their goaltending issues. Also wouldn’t be surprised if they deal some of the blue line depth for a pure sniper up front. Agree with Shannon that Waddell should keep Chatfield maybe package Pesce and DeAngelo??

  22. I don't like him. He keeps missing wide open net goals like in Florida.
I'm surprised he hasn't been benched for it.

  23. Shannon, for the teams out of the playoffs that have UFAs, could you put an F, D, or G next to the player? That would be really helpful. Thanks. Love your work, you are my go to guy! Merry Christmas, Happy New Year!

  24. What Barron makes too many mistakes and costs goals against. I don't know if they are mental mistakes or over thinking but he is a liability.

  25. What the Islanders do should be interesting. Cap space shouldn't be an issue with Ryan Pulock hobbling around on crutches, 3 players biding time to retirement( Clutterbuck, Martin, Bortuzzo), and Wahlstrom with his bags packed and waiting at the UBS loading dock. No doubt that Methusaleh will go shopping again.
