Get a VPN and you can always watch the root broadcast on ESPN+

No. When it says “NHL Power Play” down there in the lower right corner, that’s part of the out-of-market package and will be blacked out in the Seattle and Philadelphia markets. The game will be broadcast in Seattle on Root.

Like others have said, this game against the Flyers is only available on ESPN+ outside of the Root Sports broadcast area. But the Feb 10th game against the Flyers is part of the ESPN+ Hockey Night, which will be streamed nationally including inside Root’s area.

Use a Smart DNS service (NordVPN and others provide this). I use it to watch local Kraken games on ESPN+ on my Apple TV and it works great.
Idk if this works for other people, but sometimes I just repeatedly click on “watch” even though I’m blacked out and eventually the app just caves and lets me in. 🤷🏻♀️ also, weirdly enough, I never have trouble watching on espn+ at Seattle bouldering project 😂

Here’s the [national broadcast schedule](https://www.nhl.com/kraken/fans/broadcast-schedule) for this season.
