Diamond Sports Group has cut a deal with the NHL to continue broadcasting for the 11 clubs it has deals with, including the Predators, for the remainder of this season. After that, those teams’ local broadcast rights will revert to the NHL.
TL,DR: Bally will be gone this off-season.

This is great news. But the devil you know is better than the devil you don’t. I’m worried where they are going to end up behind a paywall I can’t avoid like I do with Bailey.
Give me an option for a full NHL package without blackouts and I’ll buy it today.
It’s like we’ve come full circle.
When I was a kid, my Dad got one of those big ass C-Band satellite dishes, which will always be the most amazing TV service ever created. It had all of these smaller, local TV sports networks from coast to coast. They got bought up by conglomerates, passed around for years, and now we’re back at local networks again.
Great. I haven’t been able to watch games in several years.
If it changes over to a streaming service that will cost me additional money on top of my cable package, I’m going to fucking riot.
Whoever is carrying the broadcast next season, I hope they keep the current crew. Though I won’t cry if Willy doesn’t make the transition. I will be upset if we lose Lindsay, Mace, and Gill.
