  1. WHAT HAPPENED?!?! WHAT DID HE DO!!! STOP TALKING ABOUT HOW SICKENING THE RUMORS ARE….. TELL US WHAT HAPPENED!!!!! YOU.DONT HAVE A CONTRACT TERMINATED BECAUSE YOU HAVE AN ALCOHOL PROBLEM

  2. I see the trolls are out in full force. Losers with pathetic lives with nothing better to do. Your comments are not funny even original, only a 12 year old would find them mildly amusing. Grow up.

  3. I hate this crap from Teams…why leave it to speculation…just say what happened, we've seen it all, we've heard it all, what are you protecting?

  4. Communications 101 — Nature abhors a vacuum. So does the internet.
Get out in front of things early. Don't have to give all the details, but you'd better provide the general nature of what happened or things will spin out of control very quickly.

  5. Still waiting for Dustin Buflin to make a statement as to why he quit the Winnipeg Jets. Every time a player like Corey Perry exemplifies class and respect by putting out a well-worded statement, I think of that.

  6. Please, please, please for the love of God tell me that the Leafs are already in talks with Corey Perry's agent! 🙏

  7. He is not the first or the last player struggling with alcohol abuse. We are all human, no one is perfect! I hope all those malicious rumors started by haters will cease and desist.

  8. looks like the truth will never come out, unless the "real victim" in this scenario spills the beans one day. I bet the victim was paid hush money

  9. Let that be a lesson to us all, never go to your workplace drunk. Nothing good ever comes from it. Good luck Corey, hope you complete the 12 steps.

  10. To answer Marissa's question, regulation wins kind of matter. Within your own conference they matter, because it deprives your opponents a point, who you are competing with for a playoff spot/seeding, but outside your conference a win is a win, whether it's in regulation or not.

Which just highlights how stupid it is that the league obsesses over determining a winner every game. There used to be wins, losses, and ties. But people wanted to either win or lose, no middle ground with a tie. They wanted binary results, good or bad. What we ended up with is actually more possible results. Regulation wins, Overtime wins, Overtime losses, and Regulation losses. So why are we doing this? Scrap shoot outs and I don't care if you scrap overtime or not, but don't give out a point to the loser if you do keep overtime.

  11. Get yourself cleaned up for yourself just lost my cousin 12-1-23 to alcoholism at age of 44 Jesus is the answer hope to see you back in the league
