Joshua Roy Continues to Produce (2A/5PTs/5GM)/Jakub Dobes Wins 3rd in a Row/Mailloux (1A/12PTs/18GM)

It was another good night for the prospects as Joshua Roy picked up 2 points and now has 5 in the last 5 games, 23 in 26 games on the season. Jakub Dobes has been playing his best ever since getting pulled on 12-2, he’s won 3 in a row and a OT loss stopping 130 of 139 shots over the 4 games. Logan Mailloux continues his ups and downs as he seems to fit well with Arber Xhekaj, he’s got 12 points in the last 18 games and 14 in 26 on the season.

Sean Farrell has been skating with the team in a no contact jersey so he hopefully is back in a week or so. Also wondering if the Habs will send Jordan Harris to Laval on a conditioning stint some time next week or so.

Dobes – stopped 27 of 29
Roy – 2 assists, +1
Mailloux – 1 assist, 1 shot, Even
Simoneau – 1 assist, 2 shots, 4 pims, +1
Condotta – 1 assist, +1

Roy 1st Assist – 7:38
Roy 2nd Assist – 8:52

  1. The very first goal against the MTL/Laval forward I think Simmoneaux was caught too depp in the corner 30 feet from the point man and it ends up a goal.Laval suffers the same problem as the Habs all the players are just chasing the puck all over the ice instead of being in position to take away passing lanes and being within distance of the points.
So then how does Laval respond the EXACT same thing Syyacuse left the point wide open so he got the pass and walked right in with a goal.
IDK how NHL players got this far not understanding fundementals in defensive zone coverage I guess same old same old all anyone cares about is how many points yo ucan score and that gets you drafted.

  2. Xhekaj and Mailloux as Montreal's 3rd d-pairing is going to be hazardous to the health of every NHL team that faces them. Dobes will end up in Montreal, if they can start finding a way to get him into more games. Mann isn't a goalie that has an NHL future.
