The HOF voting committee should be ashamed for waiting so long to put coach Don Coryell and Chuck Howley into the Hall. In addition, WHEN are they gonna put the late, great Jerry Smith in???? He has more career TD's than Kellen Winslow, Dave Casper, Mike Ditka, John Mackey, Jackie Smith, Ozzie Newsome, and Charlie Sanders. After Jerry Smith retired from the Redskins, his all-time TD record for TE's lasted for TWENTY SIX YEARS until TE Shannon Sharp broke it!!!! So how on earth did those other TE's get gifted invitations to the HOF, while a guy who was better at scoring TD's not get an invitation???? Jerry Smith also played in Superbowl 7.
Correction: Canton has never had an NFL football team…. they have had the Canton Bulldogs that started in 1904 in the Ohio League and the APFA and closed shop in 1926.
They lowered the bar big time letting Ware Barber and Klecko in.

Canton most definitely HAS hosted an NFL team. The Bulldogs were already an established team when they joined the American Professional Association in 1920, and played in the 1922-23 and 1925-28 seasons after the league was renamed the National Football League. Their best player was a former MLB player and Olympic track and field gold medalist named Jim Thorpe.
You ask 100 experts to put together a 52 man all time team, all 100 of them will have Hester as the return man. He absolutely belongs in the hall.

Wow that’s BS tom Coughlin deserved to be in this year he won rings as an assistant coach and as head coach and lost his wife as of late and been through a lot the man has always worked hard held his head high no matter what and yet he’s not in that’s a real issue with today voters I seen others like Revis and barber that could’ve waited another year compared to Tom cause they still have plenty of life to live but you never know when Tom’s will be up
Canton is not a small town. It is the 8th largest city in Ohio. This is where I live. Also, it is not true that Canton never had an NFL team. There was the Canton Bulldogs, which played from 1920 to 1923 and 1925 1926. I suggest you visit the Pro Football Hall of Fame. They have a fascinating history about this team. The NFL was founded in Canton, Ohio in 1920.

I love seeing the announcement of the hall of fame class. It’s always a big anticipation for who will be in this year. But I love this class. I’m a cowboys fan and from Lubbock, Texas where Red Raider nation lives. Awesome to see one of my favorite cowboys Ware and Tech Alumni Zach Thomas go in together. Perfection 👊🏼
