  1. Is it actually a win that for once, Barkov did not score a goal versus us?

  2. HanshinFan

    Post game thoughts:

    – Reminds me of the LA games – they’re clearly a better team, but they’re better specifically in that they play super stifling in the neutral zone and we have no answers and can’t generate any offense as a result. Criminally boring, but effective. I love Marty, but that’s on coaching a bit.
    – Poor o-zone penalty from Armia, man. Such a puzzling player – he can be so good one shift and then do that the next. Gotta figure a message gonna get sent here by the coaching staff.
    – If you’re one of the people making fun of Florida’s fanbase, please don’t. There are some of us who remember being on the receiving end of those same comments for the Expos. Watching your team die slowly really, really sucks, and I hope the Panthers stay good long enough to turn it around.
    – The rats are a fun gimmick.

  3. What does it feels like this team is playing without brain ? Like the talent is there but it seems like there’s not game plan at all

  4. Gullible-Card2614

I’ve only been a fan for a few years. I know we are rebuilding but damn man it’s getting painful. Hope we do better next season.

  5. Habs_Apostle

Expected. Playing better teams now. We just don’t have the horses yet.

  6. Keepmeister

Well…This was certainly one of the games of all time…

  7. BelialHabs

As soon as Suzuki doesn’t have a good/great game this team is completely impotent offensively.

Poor guy… Shades of Koivu and Plekanec eras…

Hopefully, Dach could change that in the future… Hopefully…

  8. I’ve seen teams suck before but they were the suckiest bunch of sucks that ever sucked.

  9. Longshanks123

So many stupid comments. The Habs don’t get out-worked. This loss wasn’t on the coach. Allen did not play badly.

It’s an untalented roster playing very hard and getting beaten by a much better team

  10. I mean, everyone knew this roadtrip would be brutal. Get ready for some Kucherov, Point and [insert random TBL 3rd or 4th liner] fuckery tomorrow.

  11. itsdajackeeet

Armia – Laval awaits. I don’t give a fuck who they bring up at this point. With the score tied 1-1 there is no excuse for that fucking penalty 180 feet from your net that resulted in a goal. I hope they waive him and leave him there. He’s not worth the 3 or 4 good games you get out of him.

    *BAD*

    – I couldn’t really focus on the game as much as I’d like due to being social while watching the game. However, and point being, that was probably the only to watch that game. Boring.

    – Gallagher started well but unfortunately has regressed… to say the least.

    – A lot of the reasons Habs lose to better teams beyond the obvious of them being better is because too much space is given to good teams players. You can get away with it against weaker opponents but not stronger teams.

    – Armia with a really stupid penalty that have the panthers the lead in the third. Brutal.

    – Get some shots.

    – Team on a back to back curse

    *GOOD*

    – Caufield goal nice little play and assisted by Suzuki.

    – the offside challenge was fairly clutch although that is a bit of a rule I am not a fan of.

    – Suzuki played well.

It’s pretty hard checking into this subreddit without maintaining a sense of humour I gotta say……………..

  14. backwardzhatz

This stretch was always gonna be uuuggggglly. Next two games are likely gonna be L’s as well, but I’m gonna cheer the boys on regardless. We’re playing the long game here folks, this is still better than last year lol.

  15. banevadegang

Suzuki is right in front of the goalie but decides to make a back pass when there’s 3 Panthers to intercept… Please stop.

  16. Ok-Sprinkles1644

It’s simple our forwards are shit !!!!!
2nd , third and fourth lines would be fourth lines on any team ,our first line would get third line minutes .
You don’t like to hear it , but this are facts !!!
We need to trade some defensive prospects for some offensive prospects , we have very little offence in the minors . If Hughes doesn’t see that he’s an idiot !!!!

  17. tehsdragon

“Man I would do anything to buy Caufield a goal”

    **Monkey’s paw curls**

  18. Legitimate-Tell-6694

Our top goal scorer is trending towards a 23-goal season. That is depressing as fuck.

  19. Tampa got pummelled. They must be licking their chops realizing they get to bounce back the next day vs Habs.

You know they are going to smoke us tomorrow.

  20. DrMichaelHufuhruhurr

game was a good reminder to stay the course
