Guys you know that funny thing is, the videos keep getting shorter.. almost like they have run out of things to say.
One thing that I don't like about Keefe is that Ive never seen him take accountability for losses. For him, its always the players fault, ans never his own decisions.
Kampf finally found his stride and was really working. I cannot figure out why he was benched. It surely had to be something behind the scenes right? You don't pull a key part of your defense out because of game like that one against Ottawa. Yeah the defense sucked but it's hard to get into any kind of defensive stride when more than one in every five shots, regardless of quality, are getting past your goalie. Kampf in front of Jones could have made a difference tonight, especially on the PK.
Resign Sheldon Keefe. How much can you lose?!
Let your scouts go to Europe and find a good goalkeeper and a couple of defenders

Keefe sugarcoating another loss. The construction of the team is the problem, they aren't built to do what it takes to win battles against teams like this let alone want too. Also, its idiotic suggesting Kampf not playing factored into this loss. Only cup this team is winning is the Good Deeds Cup!

The "team played well tonight," Keefe. So well that they lost again. It's funny how we're told the team is top heavy and spent all its money on game changers(the big four). Yet ever game we seem to be missing one goal when it matters🤔

Why sit Kampf? I get the O-zone turnover with 6 mins to go in Columbus is annoying for Keefe, but Kampf got all the way back to defend & frankly, Samsonov has to make that save on Fantilli from almost 40 ft out. The guy that f*cked up in that game among a few other blunders, was Domi on the 4th Columbus goal when he decided to join the 2 Leaf D behind his own net to help them out-number Bemstrom, who then out-worked Rielly to get the puck out front to Johnson, waltzing in all alone. In that scenario, Johnson is Domi's guy, since Domi's presence behind the Leaf net is not needed at all. Do you think Kampf might have helped more effectively defend on the 2 Canes PP goals? Maybe. Healthy scratching the wrong guy.
I would hate to pay for $200+ tickets and $25 beer at Scotia arena to watch your team lose night after night.

THE COACH HAS LOST THE TEAM! (or never really had it, depending on how you look at it). They clearly don't listen to him because there is NO defense. Keefe has taken this team as far as it will go. He benches a 4th liner like he's a tough coach when his top players committed much worse crimes. This team has become the laughing stock of the NHL, and rightly so. I'm glad I deleted my Leafs recording timer because I can't imagine having wasted another 6 hours over the last two games (although, I did have to waste the 10 minutes or so watching the SN recaps).
I can understand when the team is rebuilding etc… you lose games, it happens as they build the team over the years, but these guys have completely run out of excuses a few years ago. It's funny, you could bring in the best players in the league and this would still happen because that's what happens when you become a Leaf, you become defensively lazy and stop giving a damn (except perhaps Bertuzzi who has been an absolute force to be reckoned with this last month, well, I guess you could probably add Knies and Gregor there as well).
In a power play, you have half the team's salary on the ice and they can't even score (or gain the zone in many cases – or just lackadaisically throw it away like Nylander (will he get benched for that? You and I both know he won't!!)) ). This idea of putting all your money into 4 eggs of the basket is just laughable and clearly a failed strategy, while other teams with no=name players run circles around you because they buy into what the coach is selling and win by committee.
This has just gotten laughable now… I can't even be mad or frustrated anymore because it's just so beyond that now that all I can do is laugh when they lose (and usually to bottom teams).
I'll wait until the playoffs to watch/attend (if they make it there), unless they change the coach… then something interesting might happen… but by the time they make a coaching change (if any), it will probably be too late by then.
Looks like the wrong night to bench David K with 2 PP goals against, maybe you should bench Marner for his stupid penalty at the end of the game and his giveaways and lack of checking

I'm no expert, but the results speak for themselves! 34 games played won 17 lost 10 in regular time & 7 in overtime (correct if I'm wrong)! Keefe would have been sacked a long time ago in other sports.
