[NEXT DAY!]_Thread 35/82 Devils at Bruins 2023.12.30

That was super frustrating (4 opposition goals in just one period is a real big problem), but I’m heading into year 31 of being a fan, and I know things will get better.

Here’s to a **Happy New Year** for all of us!!

Back at it Wednesday!

What’s on your mind?

  1. A bit of a frustrating end to one of the best calendar years for the team in recent memory. Even then, the team didn’t just get outclassed from the start. They came on strong, beat a good goalie a couple times, and then yeah, got overwhelmed and rolled over. Something to work on for next year.

I’m gonna choose to remember 2023 for the many highs. The thrilling OTs, the emergence of Jack as a goddamn superstar, the debuts of our next wave of defenseman, and of course, for that Rangers series. Specifically the first goal of Game 7. I will never get sick of that one.

So yeah. Put this loss behind us, move onto the next 3-in-4-days stretch, and just keep trying to enjoy the ride. Happy New Year, all.

  2. Worst part about last night is Timo getting hurt again. 2nd time this year he started to find his stride and then immediately gets hurt

  3. What’s on mind is the continual thought that Ruff is not the guy to take us to the promise land. The fact that he didn’t use a timeout during the goal run is troubling.
