Many things to take away from this:
1. Both The Power Play & Penalty Kill Were Great. Very satisfying to see those type of goals go in and take away free opportunities
2. Peanut butter & Jelly >>> (when it’s jack and Jesper, I don’t like sandwiches. Nico is the bread and Luke is the knife,. Well regarding the team overall I guess)
3. Multi point games for both Hughes and the Brattman. So many many points!!!
4. MERCER HAS 6 POINTS IN 3 OR 4 GAMES, I FORGET WHICH. Goal was absolutely nasty, love him so much, MAY HE CONTINUE TO SHINE BRIGHT LIKE THE STAR HE ISSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS 💞💞💞💞💞✨✨✨✨ (no i totally don’t have any bias towards him)
5. Smith goal first goal omfg what in the Jesper Bratt Jack Hughes??? The celebration between him and the boys was absolutely adorable 😭😭😭😭
6. NICO.DAWS. he played absolutely great, loved that entire performance
7. THE DEVILS WINNING BY DOMINATION??? IN WHAT ECONOMY???

I would love to see Daws in net again. But it’s the first game I haven’t been stressed the whole time.
i like Daws Ive always liked Daws and I think him playing in utica, similar to akira, helped him a lot with improvement. He was stone cold tonight. Thank goodness Jack got a solid amount on points and a goal that he needed, props to bratter for an amazing night. Disgusting goal from Merc, he's been doing that strategy a few times now and it's worked before. Hopefully we're due for a back to back w this time, would be nice to lock ourselves further into that wildcard spot. LFGD
A couple observations: 1) One thing that's immediately noticeable with Dawes is how much quicker he is than Schmid. Though he's essentially the same size as Schmid, Dawes' quickness makes Schmid look like he's playing in quicksand. 2) Are you related to Schmid? The way you defend him despite his awful play is irrational. One quick glance at the advanced analytics shows why Vitek ranks higher than Schmid to the powers that be running the team. 3) Dawes is coming off hip surgery. If they start him on back-to-back nights, they ought to have their heads examined.
Really liked this performace, of course especially Daws for his first game back. However, not to discount the win, two points is two points, but it's Ottowa and tomorrows the real test. Hopefully the club got a lot of confidence from tonight. Nice to see Toffoli and Smith getting a goal, and our PB&J is NOT to be separated again. LGD!!!
this is what happens when you shoot the damn puck and stop play give-me-a-pass-on-the-blue-line-and-I'll-pass-you-back game. Use them damn one timers more frequently. Thats the deadly weapon. Been saying that all season!!! Finaly, by game 34 they listened
Vanecek got the job done against Boston last time, so don’t count him out in this next one. Also the last thing we want is for Daws to play the back-to-back, shit the bed cuz he’s tired, and watch his confidence plummet and now we have three goalies that aren’t doing it.
loved seeing daws in net he blew my exceptions for him, I am really happy with the way they played. The only thing that upsets me is Holtz barely being on the ice, he has so much potential but he can't grow if he doesn't get more than 6 minutes of ice time.
I freaking love Dawson Mercer..He has clutch playoff performer written all over him
Fantastic game! Daws was impressive tonight. BTW, does anyone know what's going on with Holtz? Is there a reason he's being given slim ice time? From an outsider's perspective, I thought he was doing okay…🤷♀️

Can you do a video on Tofolli having potential beef with someone on the devils. I noticed he gives a player an elbow instead of a shake after a goal celebration with the team. Ive seen this happen twice now but cant figure out who it is he is ignoring. LMK if anyone else has noticed the same thing.
