This team just doesnt know how to play a full 60 minute game. They get comfortable and start to play safe. Whatever they fcking do its not good. They do great. Then suck. Wtf!!???
We cant expect Siriani to be able to coach with his head permanently up his ass! Every Eagles fan feels the same way when an opposing team has 3rd and long….same way we felt when Ben Simmons was on the free throw line. We haven't had a single game all year that felt comfortable. The damn Bubble screen hasn't worked once and yet we do it every friggin game with 160 lb Smitty as lead blocker! WTF is that?

Saying the Eagles is one of the worst teams in football is a bit over the top. They are still one of the better teams in the NFL and still have decent chance of getting to the Super Bowl.
I heard defensive players say it themselves that they get a lot of freedom to do whatever they want to do. Whatever that means. If it means what I think it means no wonder why we look lost on defense.
This team quits early. Plain and simple. This was a team loss. Have to take a long hard look in the mirror and ask some rly tough questions.
What a smart move firing Dougie P after he won a Superbowl with a backup QB!! Instead we hire a glorified cheerleader. Its so obvious that the team has quit on the coach. If you look at their body language, they all seem confused, angry and lost. Arizona had absolutely nothing to play for and the Eagles had everything to play for yet Arizona wanted it more. Eagles will not win another game this season & will lose by 20+ in the playoffs

The Philly D line has been Swiss cheese for the past 5 weeks & the cards ran it down Philly’s throat ! So time to stop the J.G. cost us the Super Bowl & it’s his fault we lost Vic fangio ! Worst loss in years
The defense is epically inept..and idk how you fix that except to start over fresh. Brand new DC with his own staff in tow. But vision wise?..that drive that ended with a field goal in the 4th qt says it all. The play calls, the confusion..the fact that they HAD to score 7 there and played conservative and scared. I mean that says it all. There's no killer instinct on the team anywhere. Nowhere. I bleed green every year and always will. We surviced Chip Kelly somehow and we can survive this too…but what scares me the most is that ownership won't or can't see what we are seeing….that the heartbeat of this team,..driven by the "vision" is absolutley dead.
reuben doesn't have to look that far back to find another team that collapsed after starting 10-2 and lost pretty much the rest of their games. That would be the 2021 Cardinals roster ironically who got destroyed by the rams in the playoffs.
They got super lucky to beat Washington, Dallas, KC, and Buffalo. The luck ran out and here we are. They were winning on pure talent and luck. The coaching has been awful all season. Now the players have given up.

This post isn’t specific to today’s game, but this all goes back to Sirianni. The HEAD COACH needs to be the offensive guru, not the OC. Otherwise, you are on borrowed time before another team poaches the OC (Reich, Steichen). If you want sustained offensive production over multiple seasons, it needs to be the head coach (Shanahan, Reid, Taylor, McVay, etc.). It took all of 7 games in 2021 to find out Sirianni wasn’t that guy. Offense wasn’t per se the issue today (obviously the defense was terrible), but offense could have put on a lot more pressure and had to settle for a FG.
Talent is there. Coaching must be switched out. This falls on Siriani and the D and O Coordinators…IMO, flat out. Change it there, and the improvement will come (next year). On a secondary note, Jalen Hurts is not at all the same QB he was last year….he runs so lame now, and his misses open receivers. He lost his confidence.

Eagles should go after Belichik.
Fire the whole coaching staff except for special teams and give Nick one more go at it next season.

Call me crazy but I placed a bet on the Cardinals at the casino even though the Eagles were a favorite on the odds to win, knowing how the Eagles have been playing as of late. So I'm bummed and pissed my team lost, but at least I got money out of it.
Close history for a late season collapse like the Eagles right now is the Cardinals 2 seasons ago. We were 10-2 and looking good, then we lost the lost the last 4 out of 5 games and got curb stomped by the Lambs in the Wild Card round. Nobody believed in Kliff Kingsbury, his play calling was terrible and getting bailed out by the talent on the roster, but that can only get you so far.
They haven't put together a single great game all season and they've gotten punched in the mouth by teams that want it more. Today was no different.
I think Sirianni is gone after this season unless by some miracle, they somehow go on a run and win the Super Bowl. I just don't see them bringing him back after this season.

I came to the realization after this game, that we sucked. We have sucked for the majority of the year. We have barely been winning. I needed to admit that to myself. I have been delusional. I can enjoy football now not expecting anything.
