Habs lose to the Carolina Hurricanes 5-3 in horribly reffed game | Habs 2023-24 Season | Episode 34

The Montreal Canadiens played tonight in the PNC Arena against the home team Carolina Hurricanes and their garbage fanbase and would end up losing by a final score of 5-3 in regulation. In the 2nd period Andrei Svechnikov and Jesper Fast would give the Hurricanes a 2-0 lead before Mitchell Stephens and Mike Matheson would end up scoring goals to tie the game up. In the 2nd period Jesper Fast would score the lone goal of the period to give the Hartford Whalers a 3-2 lead. In the 3rd period Josh Anderson would tie the game up before 2 goals from Andrei Svechnikov for the hat trick would give the Hurricanes the 5-3 win off some horrible calls. With this loss the Montreal Canadiens are now 15-14-5 with 35 points for 6th in the Atlantic Division.
