DeBrincat will not be hot w Compher centering them, no. And Kane will struggle to score at all, in part bc he will stop trying. He's at a point in his career where he doesn't put up w coaches messing w him or keeping him attached to linemates he obviously doesn't like and can't work with, esp when a great option is right nearby and he was just doing amazingly w him and their line was cooking. I thought he might want to stay in Det longterm, but Lalonde taking Larkin from him as a reward for a huge hot streak individually and as a line is probably the end of that idea. Kane postgame Minnesota said he thought they could be one of the best lines in the league, next day he shows up to practice and Lalonde's broken them up. All in a vain attempt to make Raymond less bad.
