I knew we had no hope in hell winning tonight due to our schedule but jeeeezzusss Vanecek is horrible. He should’ve been sent to the AHL rather than Schmid.
Not mentally or physically tough. As soon as a team comes down hard with the firecheck, they cave. Wish it weren't so but it is the reality
there is only one person to blame for this game. His names Ruff. The team desintegrates and every time camera shows him after the goal he just stands there turning his head right and left looking lost and not understanding where he is. Take the timeout for F sake, calm the players down, change the goalie after 3rd goal, just do something. Instead he is like… heck with it, let the boys swim with she sharks and see what happens

Boston STILL sucks
Vanecek's record is good despite his pretty bad numbers. Tonight, you just had the feeling he was exposed. Guys just skate right around him and have an open net. The contrast is even bigger when you watch Ullmark and when you got such a solid game from Daws. The saves by Daws were so refreshing and encouraging. You could argue that Vanecek finds a way to win but I'm starting to think the team has found ways to win despite him. That said, they also need to not have these miniature collapses after they give up a goal or two. It turns into three or four. It happened in the playoffs too. That really needs to stop.

Boston was the better team tonight. We still need an answer on how to overcome physical teams. Looks like Daws get the next nod, and why are we so lost on some defensive breakdowns? Let’s get this one back next week!

Ran out of gas and got steam rolled the team has played badly in the second half of back to backs all season. Still in it, still early, still above .500. Don't get the hysteria of some, every loss overreacting, throwing players and the coach under the bus. Sharing their hare brained ideas about making changes. If any of them were the GM would go back to being like the team the Devils were 3 years ago. Lets Go Devils!

I don't think you can blame Ruff for the loss against Boston.The only ones you can blame is the Devils players as they are the ones that play on the ice.Devils need a defense manto block the pucks.The Devils also need goaltending as they need to make a trade for a goaltender.Devils will bounce back it's a long season.
Losing Hamilton is a big loss for the Devils.Devils must beat the Capitals on Wed as that is a must win.Lets go Devils as they will bounce back.
These boys ALL CAME TO PLAY IN THE 1ST, and they are NOT to blame for this big L.
V.V. is completely responsible for this L: if he would just keep his ass in the "blue paint" and kept dropping is stick, the way he threw this game away makes me SICK, if you can't hold on to your Fing STICK wtf you playing in a net that you won't stay in??
V.V. has easily thrown away several easy games this year and when you have a G that plays like that: nobody has an interest in playing in a game when they got to Fing babtsit a veteran goaltender! Nobody should have to do V.V. job!
Here is a list of all of his unnecessary mistakes;
#1.He wouldn't keep his ass in the "blue paint".
#2. He was completely offset when returning to the net.
#3. He kept losing his stick because he was out of the net.
#4. He was never properly set playing the pipes tight.
#5. He attempted and FAILED to play too many pucks out of the "blue paint" carelessly!
#6. FAILURE to prevent/STOP all rebounds because he had no damn stick, and position in net.
#7. FAILURE to properly track the puck.
I am getting flashback nightmares of BLACKWOOD being reincarnated into VANCHEK!!
Get a damn GOALTENDER that will keep his ass in his NET and do his job!
NOBODY should have babysit a veteran GOALTENDER that wont stay in the BLUE PAINT!
