Far more respect for the rookie than Mackinnon there. Tries to throw a clean hit on a very bad team, gets mocked for it, and continues playing. This is why I love when Mack gets humbled, he's a gigantic tool.

this is why Mackinnon is the best overall 200 foot player in the world. Sure Mcdavid is fancy, and all but man this is the full package.
MacKinnon doesn’t get nearly the credit he deserves for being one of the best players in the league. He is every bit as good as the two Canadian media golden boys McDavid and Matthews, plus he actually has a Stanley Cup.

MacKinnon is one of the most obvious steroid users in the NHL but they won't do anything because he's a superstar. Early in his career he wasn't fast or strong… he just "miraculously" became that way in his first 100pt season
