Tbh should’ve been no goal but I’ll take it

  2. red_white_and_blues

Disappointing to see so few in the crowd

    – + dang 3-2 Finns

  3. HUGE GOAL BY MESAR!!!!(End of third, down by 1)

Totally get why we didn’t send him, but it would have been so cool to see Slaf cook with Mesar this tournament

Hell of a Finnish . Was rooting for our boy so I’m sad but was a exciting game

  6. Very typical ending to junior careers of one of the strongest and unluckiest generations of Slovak hockey. Missed U18 altogether due to relegation of their predecessors and covid cancelling Division IA tournaments, and never got to play WJC in full strength. The fact that the best player of the generation played 5 of his 7 WJC games at 16yo just underlines how nothing ever really went our way. Why Slaf wasn’t allowed to play last year remains a mystery, but shit happens. It always does.

Also thank you all non-Slovak folks for the support throughout the tournament, it was fun to watch the entire Habs fanbase rooting for our team. Hope to do it again in May during the Worlds!

Damn being a fan of both the Habs and Slovak national team is the most frustrating combo..

Mesar had a MONSTER tourney. I think this dude just rocketed to the top of everyone’s list for most exciting prospect in the org.

  8. Canada is getting dominated in the third. They finally got a decent chance with less than five minutes in the third. Czechia looks pretty good.
