Halfway through the game Kings only had 9 shots, so yeah the Leafs were in lock-down mode from git-go. Strange year when there's so much drama on Goalie waivers drama! **oh geez, got to end of video and saw pic of your boy Leo – wow! So amazing to see when this channel started you were this youngster in your room making silly hockey vids and now you are taking your son to a hockey game!!!??? So very, very cool!!!!

So, how to give Willy 11.5M
Right now Leafs have 32.5M of cap space with 11 roster spots occupied. Willy gets 11.5, which leaves the Leafs with 21M and 11 (8) roster spots to fill.
Let's say Brodie takes a bit of a discount and signs for like 3.5M. Maybe gets more term in return. That would be 18M and 10 (7) roster spots to fill.
Let's say Leafs find a way to sign Robertson, Gregor and Liljegren to some bridge deals with a total cap hit of 6M. This will be 12M remaining to fill 7 (4) roster spots.
At this point the task looks doable. Maybe even Domi and Bertuzi can stay at about the same cap hits. Maybe there will even be no need to hire a capologist named Sledgehammer Tony to make sure there is always someone on LTIR to fit under the cap.
It's a good thing Leaf's won the 1st game in 2023-2024 season. If they would of lost then I would've been worried that Leaf's would not get even in last lucky loser ticket games.
Domi won't be the third line centee during the playoffs. But he will probably be the forth line centre while Kampf gets traded.

william nylanders career high in goals before he signed his 6 year 6.9 million extension in december 2018 was 22 and career high was 61 points , in his last 3 seasons he has had 34 goals and 80 points then 40 goals and 87 points and this season he is currently on pace for 44.5 goals and 117.1 points and the report is he might sign for 8 years too, yea i would be perfectly fine with with a little over 11 million dollars , the leafs might not be in the best cap situation next year but Tavares cap hit should go down and the cap should go up over time , we can not let him go to a different team

Sad thing, Bertuzzi will likely find himself getting bypassd next season because of cap level. I agree, he played really good, 1st star, good. I also don't understand how this over payed, equation works, other then at the expense of depth, defense and goal, again, but worse.
