major story after the last week is that they will be back to their pre-Kane lineup sooner than later bc he is going to ask for a trade soon imo. he didn't sign on to be the best 5v5 forward in the league for two weeks only to get repaid for it by being stuck w JT dump and chase Compher and unable to play offense at all. they were 22% xGF last night as a line. 0 scoring chances for, 8 against. Lalonde flushed a great first line down the toilet for Lucas Raymond. and not just this year but they could have perhaps had an offensively great all American top line for several years. that's now over.
I too am off the Lalonde bandwagon. He seems lost, like he's trying to figure things out with plug and play, not some underlying sense or feel for coaching and dedication to the players and a system that works. And he is being outcoached. Despite a giant talent advantage, he came close to losing to the worst team in the league.
Where would this team be right now with Torts behind the bench.

I saw McDavid play live the first time last season and it’s breathtaking , I remember you can feel the energy of the whole arena hold their breath and know something was gonna happen everytime he had the puck it was insane
Can somebody please tell me why Daniel Sprong is fourth in goals and fifth in points and the guy can't get off the fourth line? What is this coach doing? He starting to remind me of Jeff Blashill. Put the guy in the top six!
