  1. I really don’t know what’s going on with this team and injuries. I was hoping we had fixed that problem in the off season. So sad!

  2. Goalies don't really fetch big returns unless they're really clutch, and even at that. Low ball offer, maybe, but we can't be expecting a big return either.

  3. Playoffs were possible at the start of the season. Demoting Armia was a mistake because he is a big player and we have been a small injury prone team for a long time.

    Slaf-Nick-Cole

    Newhook-Dach-Anderson

    Pearson-Monahan-Gallagher

    Pezzetta-Evans-Armia (HP out)

was the way to go since day 1. Tinordi would have never killed Dach if we played that heavy 4th line all night.

  4. Why wouldn't the Leafs try and lowball for Allen?? He make $4mil per year and hasn't been very good. But MTL wants top dollar? Give your heads a shake. The sellers always want full price. The buyers always want a bargain. This isn't new … maybe Habs fans have been dwelling in the basement too long and forget how things work in the NHL.

  5. Treliving doesn’t yet realize that he has no wiggle room and that nobody is going to hand over players to the leafs for nothing.

  6. They may only need to call up one forward (probably heineman). They've been playing seven defenseman and they looked all right. OR (here's a spicy one) : put matheson on the wing somewhere (he skates better than most forwards anyway) and call up Xhekaj from Laval. Who needs forwards anyway? Defensemen have been scoring like 30% of their goals lmao (I'm like half kidding here)

  7. Regarding bringing up Roy, I've have this nagging feeling for a little while now that he may have reached his ceiling at the AHL level. I do hope I'm wrong about this.

  8. I have no idea why they are thinking Kent would give up Allen for a 6th. I think that at least a 3rd is what he wants. Thats probably why there hasnt been a trade yet. Everyone lowballing Allen.

As for Anderson im starting to get concerned. Our team isnt too small at all. We just had more hits then the Stars last night by a good amount. But its the constant changes in ice time and conpetition. Someone like Gally or Evans who haven't been injured yet could be soon because of all the changes in minutes. You look at Suzuki Caufield. They together have faced 1 injury in the season and are always on line 1. Where as someone like Gally who keeps getting injured is always changing between lines 2 3 and 4.

  9. With this offer, no wonder they sent there goaly to the AHL, just tell them to shove it where it smells awfully bad! Under a second round pick, I’d keep Allen and keep going with 3 goaliesé

  10. Allen is not gonna fetch anything worthwhile, happy that Anderson is out, maybe that'll help us lose more games!!!

  11. Habs management, please don't trade with the Maple Leafs unless it's something similar to the Russ Courtnall/John Kordic trade in the past lol

  12. Treliving probably trying g to get revenge on Hughes for the Monahan fleecing lol! As far as a callup, we’ve seen a glimpse PLD Farrell and Heinamen…. It’s perfect time to try out some others from down there to see where they fair at the NHL level. I’d bring up Lias Anderson or Joshua Roy

  13. I know it's not in the title OR video but I had to bring this up… Everyone talks about how bad Cole Caufield has been this year right? Not able to score or do anything offensively? Well I looked at last seasons first 37 games for Cole and this years 37 and this is what I got

    129 shots in 37 games. Season #1 | 131 shots in 37 games. Season #2 | ((11 out of 131 In year 2 | 22 out of 129)) In Year 1.

He has halved his goal production with more shots and I would argue greater chances? The stats look ugly. But are they? Or is he just unlucky this season?

Cole Caufield finished the 2021-22 season with 23 goals in 67 games. Well good for us if we get rid of his 30 games with Ducharme we end up with 37 games.

2021-22 Cole Caufield under MSL scored 22 goals out of 114 shots in 37 games. 19.3 shot%

Overall every season Cole's shooting percentage goes down and down. It could be that the first two seasons were flukes but I don't think so..

Cole should have what it takes to score 60 in a career year according to stats which likely means he will. But he also has had a steady decline in shot%. Injury?last season he was reported to have played with a shoulder injury from game #6- game #46. Very possible. But what I do know is the 3 outcomes of Cole is A. peaks at 60g and scores 40+ a season (Most Likely). B. Injured player with skill his whole career (Highly unlikely) Or C. Overrated player with better stats then he should have had in 21-22 and 22-23 (VERYY UNLIKELY).

Overall Cole is still a young star who shows great potential and skill. If he is able to stay healthy for a whole 82 game season he could score 60 goals. Most likely a Habs till he retires and could go down as the best goal scoring Habs of all time.

  14. He done don't need to be a Doctor to see that's not supposed to bend that way
Leafs are fishing a 6th for a NHL goalie

  15. Die hard habs fan for over 30 years, Jake Allen is Swiss cheese and the cap dump alone makes the 6th rounder worth it. It’s the truth.

  16. Sorry man but I'm just tired of you reminding people to subscribe and trying to make some people guilty by watching your video and not subscribing to your channel,

I was a subscriber, that just unsubscribed because of that
I will still watch your video,
    Good Job!

  17. Come on to those who have not subscribed. Get on board to support this channel! Josh and Jesse do a fantastic job giving us habs fans the inside scoop on the Habs. Thank you!

  18. The Maple Laughts are a complété joke once again. Even in a desperation mode, they are not willing to get a good veteran goalie such as Allen to help them get past the second round??? Once their young futur goalie comes back from injury, they would solidify their defensesive line that isn't good at all….

I am tired of St Louis not giving Heineman a proper opportunity. Same thing for Ylonen.

  19. The Habs should take on the Jack Campbell contract. He can be rebuilt in the solid structure of Montreals team first defense. Move Jake Allen to the Oilers and eat half his deal should fetch a 1st ++. Good luck Blue Blanc et Rouge, the playoffs are in your future. ⚜️

  20. Treviling might actually be worse at his job than Dubas. I think Gignac is on a one way minor league contract ,which means the habs would have to use one of their remaining contracts to sign him so he could play here.I would have done it long ago.

  21. I suppose you want Matthews for Allen.. Sorry for the low offer last time. FFS. Leafs have a better option bringing the big kid up from the farm.
