Brady will eventually ask for a trade. Not this year but if things don’t turn around he’ll be asking for one next year. Eventually Brady and Matthew will end up playing together in St Louis.
Ottawa will always lose talent as the players ask for more money, as they move ahead in their careers. We can't keep talent, so we trade them for draft picks and start over year after year. Ottawa is a talent growing space, we bring players forward from the draft, and fail to keep them in year 4-5 of their contracts because we can't keep most of them. WHO IS OTTAWA and WHAT IS THEIR IDENTITY? I can't answer that question this year, for sure.
They need a good coach. Look at what Tocchet is doing in Vancouver. Basically the same players as last year. Give the owner a chance. The players have talent. They need a REAL NHL coach. JM with ALPHIE is good but may be interim only.
