I guess if your the opposition only chance you really have is to try and get by them is speed and dump and chase cause just their size and strength alone seems quite threatening if i had to choose ether of those 2 id rather go against Myers less chance of getting murked unless he pulls off what he did to Duncan Keith. Myers must of had remembered what Keith done to Sedin's cause we never see Myers send guy's flying like that anymore.
Not Myers His Defense of played Doesn't have it anymore when he's spins out of position and the pucked is in the net faulter 9 loss most of Him was mistakes

Everybody's stats look good when the team is good at puck possession and controls the game. Once playoffs start and the referees swallow their whistles and Matthew Tkachuck runs rampant things change quickly. This Vancouver team better start practicing some dump and chase hockey and defend without the puck before playoffs start or this season might all be for nought.

“Tyler Myers” and “good” don’t sound right in the same sentence, bc that shi ain’t true. Whenever he gets the puck it looks like he doesn’t ever know what to do with it, and he has all of that height and uses none of it on defense. I’m certainly hoping he is traded off after his contract ends, tired of seeing him on the ice.

But that stat can be misleading, because who this pair plays against would be very different from a pair like Hughes and Hronek… Still, I think the two do complement each other somehow – maybe both know their defensive partner plays a risky game, so they have both become more conscious in their defensive assignment. Whether this would be sustainable, I have my doubts… but let's see how this goes.
Remember, Myers isn’t earning $6 million this season. His cap hit is $6 million, but his salary is just $1 million. For $1 million, he’s doing very well.
