Sharangovich is just more exciting. Although the guy goes pretty hard at taking the piss out of the NHL All-Star Game. Also didn’t know all that drama about John Scott. They ended his career over that.

Weegar was the pick imo
Its I’m sure a marketing thing for Lindholm for trade.

Meh, Millen made a good point last night. Lindy is tied for 3rd in scoring, 1st in TOI and he’s our best 2-way forward.
Personally I wouldn’t have chose Lindholm, but it isn’t an egregious pick. I would have gone with Ras personally, but if we’re honest, cases could be made for all of Weegar, Andersson, Hanifin, Sharangovish, Coleman, Kadri, Lindholm and even Zary.
I agree, marketing ploy: maybe make him a better asset..
He probably was and it’s not marketing for a lindholm trade, only the NHL has a say in these first ballot of All Stars.
It’s marketing for the NHL, they are never going to pick Coleman, Andersson or similar unknown players for what is essentially a huge marketing campaign. This has been the norm for years, it’s why Kadri was picked last year

Coleman was the top scorer in 2023. He is 32. He should go.
