I know it wasn’t a big move but the signing of Rodrigues to florida is proving to be A+ for the panthers
Somewhat you can say the same about Mikkola and OEL
An underrated move is Erik Gustaffson going to the rangers. He has been solid and was a good filler for fox on the pp when he was injured

I know you love to hate the jackets but the provorov deal really isn’t that bad. He was brought in to buy time for mateychuk and svozil to develop. He’s been bad defensively but really good offensively playing 1D minutes. He can probably get a first round pick at next years deadline

Thankfully for the Kings, PLD has been looking WAY better in the last 6ish games, and in the first game with Kempe on his wing he had 2 excellent assists and was arguably the best player on the team last night.
SO MANY PEOPLE have already thrown him under the bus but IMO he'll keep getting adjusted to the system, will earn better wingers and will get closer to that PPG pace we want him on.
Jonathan Drouin signing by Colorado: currently a B+ quickly rising to an A- if he keeps steady with just creating scoring chances and being in the right spots to score the occasional goal. I only really see his recent goal scoring trend coming back down. Not his playmaking. He's been excellent relative to expectations.
What about Patrick Kane to Detroit?
Signing Sheary for 3 mil a year to get 5 points so far is horrible but I feel he can turn it around let’s hope
Saying ek65 hasn’t been one of the top problems in Pittsburgh shows how many games you’ve watched them play this year. He is one of our top problems 100 percent

duchene in dallas has one of the best contracts in the league
I know it wasnt a major move, but JVR to Boston on a 1×1 has been a home run. 7 goals and 25 points in 35 games is pretty great, and given his career -70, simply being a +3 is solid too.
Obviously no teams aquesitions are having impact that the changes in WPG have done.
Getting rid of Stenlund,Menalainen,kuhlman,Wheeler,PLD
And getting Villardi,Iafallo,Nino,Namestnikov,Kupari
This team isnt getting enough respect they are 1-2 trades away from being cup contender/no weaknesses.
The new players play hard,hit,cycle,win tight games playoff type of hockey.
Can say its boring style but gets job done.

I don’t get the Provorov deal from the Kings perspective. Giving up a 1st, 2nd, a solid dman, and a decent prospect to dump Peterson’s contract was kind of insane.
