Pheonix Copley’s leg is wrapped and in a brace. Guessing his season is over.

Get well soon, Pheonix! Do we have any idea how he got injured?

  1. No information other than it happened in practice. It could just be a freak thing, move one way and your body goes “nope” and it’s done

I hate how hockey and basketball it seems are so vague with their IR. Oh dude got his leg cut almost completely cut off but they managed to save it……lower leg injury and is questionable. Hope the Pheonix’d one is ok

Soaking up some sun and reading a book doesn’t seem so bad in terms of rehab. Slap some sunscreen on!

I love how zen as fuck he always seems to be. In net, on the bench, in the lounger recovering. haha.

  5. He looks relaxed but when you have injuries, you’re always in pain and it’s hard to get comfortable and rest for it to heal. I hope he has a full recovery.

Living his best life right there. He seems happy!

That could be it for his career tbh. I’ll always be a fan after last season, and not just because of his game. He really stepped up with confidence when it mattered the most, likely knowing he wasn’t really up to the task, but showed up and did what was asked of him. He did it all while maintaining his cool (except for that one time when it was completely awesome.)

This makes the Aaron Dell signing in Ontario make much more sense. I had a feeling it had to do with Copley.

  9. Yeah his season is over. Sucks for him, hope he recovers.

He’s a great player. Lots of heart and effort. I’m sad he won’t be playing anymore this season

  12. Damn, he was starting to look improved this year especially with his rebound management, was looking like a player that had an off-season to work with the King’s system.
