OK Guys, it’s time to review the game last night between the Montreal Canadiens and the New York Rangers. The Habs won the game in a shootout, and the final score was 4-3. In today’s video, I’ll breakdown the highlights and explain what happened. But Samuel Montembeault just stole 2 points, he’s on fire!

Yet another game where the boys blew a multi goal lead. It's a trend that needs to be addressed. It's a fast game and goals are going to be scored, but it's an issue that's way too consistent with this team. A win is a win and Monty was incredible so I'll take it.
Terrific stuff HJ. It woulda been even nicer to see Sams face on Roddys Body in the bank scene. Now put on the damn sunglasses bye! They Live was a documentary!
Honestly. If Monty plays like this for the next 15+ games then the Habs may just have to crush the Leafs in round 1 again.

Sidenote to Habs fans attending the games, I appreciate your enthusiasm and I understand you paid a lot to be there but please wait until there's less than 10min to play in the 3rd period before you olé olé… Especially when your team is in rebuild mode and the opponent is a veteran powerhouse. This is the second time this season you do this and it happens to be the second time the other team comes back. Thankfully Monty went nuts and saved the team this time around but let's learn from this.

Honestly, in a follow up to my last comment. The Rangers had a shift in the 2nd period where they had about a minute and a half of O-Zone time, they were changing players to get fresh legs out there. Canadians could hardly touch the puck. Why not pull the goalie there, if you are the Rangers?
Our second period is tough though. We get hemmed in too much. Our D-Men get a bit lazy when dealing with the puck in our own end.

That faceoff was something else. Hope SuziQ was paying attention, would good for his arsenal. Monty was unfugginbelievable the whole game and ices it in the SO

as a goalie. monty is much more cool calm and collected than jake allen and quite frankly is more patient and better at stopping the puck
When you go to Montreal in April, you have to go to Gibby's for dinner. Great food, great atmosphere. The granddaughter of HOF'er Sylvio Mantha works there. It's also Brendan Gallagher's favorite restaurant. The Beef Wellington is to die for.
