  1. I’m thinking we should probably keep the lotto line together..

  2. Snookeredinbc

Love how after the game HNIC shows a few Canuck highlights and then talks about the Maple Laughs for 3 mins

  3. Fuck it keep the lotto line for a couple of games. Third line has elite for some games. 2nd and 4th we just pray

Obviously lotto line is fun, but I’m excited to see how Suter fares as the 2C for the Russians.

You could tell lately that both of them have been relying on Petey to spark offence, I think forcing them (particularly Kuzy) to be ‘the guy’ will do wonders for his confidence

I thought that the 4th line was good on the forecheck but got caught napping for the 3rd goal.

  6. Trade for a capable 2C and reunited the lotto line!

I’m actually thinking the top six forward they should get if they do end up making a big trade for a forward should be someone who can play both C and W like Elias Lindholm so they can play lotto line together more frequently while having a legit 2c that can slide back to the wing if they split it back up.

Petey’s game score was 6.06 which is incredible.

Lotto line was awesome, but really shows our depth issues since we don’t really have a second line then. Strong game for Soucy and Myers pair although a few awkward moments when shifting side to side. Probably iron that out if they play together a bit more.

This should make our trade deadline situation more interesting. If Miller plays 2C then we need another winger. If he plays on Petey’s wing (or vice versa) then we need another 2C (and preferably one who can take faceoffs cuz boy this team is bad at faceoffs).

  11. Obviously keep the best line in the NHL together.

l… And also the Lotto line.

But jokes aside, they should be using the lotto line and Blueger / Garland / Joshua as their matchup lines and then getting Suter and Kuzmenko out against weaker competition, preferably with Hog instead of Mik.

The problem with this composition is that it requires you to keep Aman in the lineup and I’d maybe rather have a 4th line of Kuzmenko / Dries / Hoglander to shelter with Suter / Mikheyev / Lafferty as the third line. Doesn’t matter of course since there’s no way they try that when they’re on a 7 game eastern road trip but on the following home stand… I would.

Yeah, Aman didn’t have that good of a night. Poor guy, he’s taken penalties two games in a row, luckily hes been bailed out by our now elite pk but man.

I just want to see the boys wearing the orca jersey win lol, hope he gets it together.

  13. Soucy back for 1 game and comfortably has the highest positive defensive impact.

I like keeping the Lotto line as our equivalent of putting McDrai together. Get the goal, change the momentum but we can’t run it full time.

I love Suter but a 2C he is not.

  15. Petey should be getting Hart votes for being 11th in scoring while dragging Mik and whomever along as wingers all year.

  16. coltonjeffs

First 2 periods were so deadly. Never seen this team look so dominant.

  17. phantomgiratina

Soucy’s impact was felt tonight, he felt more steady than Zadarov

  18. calgary_db

    I don’t like this chart.

Hoglander had a great game last night

  19. Tweakin69

Kuzmenko made some nasty passes he deserved a few assists that game although he had a few defensive mishaps I was on the edge of my seat watching him last night as per usual
