@Montreal Canadiens

He looks incredible..

OK Guys, it’s time to take a look at Habs prospect Filip Mesar. Who has been terrific so far during the 2023-2024 world juniors. Mesar has 6 assists in 3 games, and plays a key role on Slovakia’s team as their assistant captain.

The articles that were in the video were screenshots from Habsfanatics.com, I highly reccommend you to check out this site for further Habs News,

  1. I mentioned LAST year that mesar deserved to make mTL way before Slafkovsky.I admit Slafkovsky has improved a small bit mostly in his skating not much else but imo Mesar is still a better player.
    Now the problem is SMALL players way too many of them but if ou could find Mesar a couple big line mates that also play big he could be a factor.BTW Slafkovsky plays SMALL I can't beleive how easily he gets knocked around as I mentioned 3 games ago when in one shift he was sent on his butt then 3 secs later a SMALL player sent him flying backwards into the boards 5 ft.
    Now if the Habs can't fix the SOFT smal player syndrome there will never be a home for Mesar.

  2. the reason that this wjc is not hyped is because its in sweden and theres barely any people at the games so it looks empty however last year the arena was fully packed which made it hyped

  3. Mesar has been totally impressive and his development is amazing…..staying in junior was his smartest move..remember Sweden are always dominant in the tournament until the medal rounds where they choke every year

  4. #1 Greatest thing about the WJC is….that Slaf isn't playing in it. 😉😜
    #2 Is Mesar's performance.
    #3 Is Fowlers performance, especially considering his experience and the bigger ice.

    Overall, the hockey has been entertaining.

  5. I watched Fowler in the shoot-out in his last game and he was very impressive. I look forward to see where some of these prospects will be in 1 or 2 seasons.. It's nice to see the Habs have a deeper prospect pool than some of the few last seasons.

  6. My fellow Slovakian fans are eating well this tournament so far. Mesar has been impressive, Gajan is real solid in the goal, and Petrovsky is scoring like there's no tomorrow. All and all, I love how this team is playing and I'm looking forward for tomorrows match.

  7. At least we got a penalty about that hit on Owen and won the game with the momentum shift… oh… oh…

  8. If Slaf turns out to be Josh Anderson 2.0, and Mésar an NHL playmaker we won that draft he reminds me of Tomas Tataar

  9. if only Habs drafted Dvorsky (was 2+2 againts norway) to create the new stastny brothers line with mesar and slafkovsky <3

  10. Anyone wanna talk about Xhekaj? He's been a force! 7 points in 9 games may not seem crazy but for a bottom pairing grit NHL defenseman in their 2nd year it is! Im not saying he's the next Lane Hutson but man! Maybe some Gordie Howe Hattricks?

  11. Lane Hutson isn't ready this year or next year. Beck is a fringe NHL player, never understood the hype; 4th line at best, a checker, yay!! Mesar looks good, Fowler is young, has time, hasn't looked great. Yawn, boring for Montreal otherwise.
