  1. I can't wait to see how Philly will welcome Quitter Gauthier next time he shows his face against the Flyers! šŸ˜„

  2. Drafted players not signing isn't that rare at all. Tons of guys do it. Especially NCAA guys. There's a clause in the CBA that allows a drafted NCAA player who hasn't signed by a certain date after playing his 4 years of college hockey to become a free agent. Arizona has been plagued by guys doing it over the years.

  3. Ducks overpaid, this kid has character issues written all over him. Obviously Im no Flyers fan but he bait and switch he pulled on the org is a terrible look.

  4. As a Flames fan who is still a bit torqued about Adam Fox, I honestly think the guy just wanted to play closer to home. Similar to Johnny Gaudreau. These guys from out East want to be closer to home, and especially I think for Fox who is from New York.

  5. You guys sometimes really over think things. Women, girlfriends, personal taste and lifestyle goes in to a lot of reasons why players demand trades. Eric Staal, demanded out of Carolina bc his wife and kids preferred spending time where he was from and where his lake house is at. His brother Jordan Staal, always would visit there often bc it has a training room right off the back deck on the water.
No one wants to put up with Calgaryā€™s weather or the 1990ā€™s feel of Philadelphia with its cold weather either.

Picking a team used to be made based upon roster opening to line position available and or chances of winning a cup, but since most Stanley cup winners have been the teams with new franchises or decked out franchises, the decision doesnt carry much weight anymore. These are still boys and young men, if a girlfriend says she wonā€™t give up her life to live in Phili, that player will refuse the trade.

  6. ā€œHe really liked the idea of joining a super young coreā€?? Would you rather live in Philadelphia or Anaheim? I feel like we forget how easy these types of decisions can be, especially for a young player thinking with their brain instead of their heart.

  7. As a Flyers fan, i will tell you that heā€™s very close friends with Kevin Hayes. The whole organization couldnā€™t stand Hayes and how lazy, soft, and unprofessional he was. Thats why they traded him for basically nothing. Hayes probably polluted his brain with horror stories about Torts. The entire Philly media is talking about it. Good riddance, Cutter just made a huge mistake and Iā€™m glad heā€™s gone.

  8. As a Flyers fan, I don't want you here if you don't want to be here; simply means you won't put your heart and soul into this organization like the rest of us. I'm fine with that, nobody wastes anyone's time in that scenario, but it's flat out disrespectful that you told our ownership that you wanted to be here, got drafted, and then backed out saying you didn't want to be here. What the hell was the point of all that? For the sake of the Ducks fans, I hope he doesn't pull any shenanigans on you guys. I am looking forward to Drysdale though, he will be welcomed with open arms and will be a nice defensive piece to our rebuild.

  9. Donā€™t know how I feel about this. On one hand I fully support using your leverage to go where you want. Itā€™s your life and career. Imagine McDavid on almost any other teamā€¦ Not a great example but you know what I mean.

On the other hand whatā€™s the point of a draft order other than compiling a list of the best prospects ranked best to worst? If the worst team in the NHL loses its ability to draft the best players before other teams the chance of them improving becomes much more difficult. And now that itā€™s been proven to work watch for more players to do it.

  10. 19 year old kid with a stupid first name pulling an attitude before playing a shift in the NHL? Soft and entitled. Flyers are better off; this kid will bust.
