You can see him getting stronger and more determined every game! He was very good tonight and that’s with a handful of miscues! Crazy to think that this wasn’t even his A game!
Agree with you re: Eklund. For the most part, he’s improving with each game, is often one of the best Sharks players (if not the best) & it’s cool to watch his development.
Eklund's shot is like 100x better than when we first saw him. How often does this happen w/ players shots? Like that much improvement?
It scares me seeing the Sharks winning so much lately when the focus should be on drafting top 2-3. We would need all our prospects to hit in order to end this rebuild early.
At least I won my over/under on Granlund 😂. Would have been 6 for 6 if Crosby would have just taken one less shot!

The last few years have been tough as a Sharks fan. The last few weeks are the first time I've felt optimistic about the future and actually excited to stay up until 1 a.m. to watch this team. Slippy has been incredible, Grier's made smart, low-risk moves, and this past offseason they landed their franchise centre, Mikael Grantzky (oh yeah, Will Smith is looking good too!).

I’m happy this team is playing better and the team is coming together and playing for each other but how worried are you that this could mean we go from drafting 1 or 2 vs 7,8,9. I get it’s a long season I just don’t want to jeopardize that top pick

Eklund's goal was amazing. The kid is an absolute sniper. You can't teach that.

One benefit for Couture is he can have more time with his young child while he heals. I hope he can get back or gets what he wants. His finances should be OK. He could also continue his hockey career in some way. Coaching? Broadcasting? Management?
