Imagine if the Leafs started taking these games against bottom feeders more seriously at the start of the season. They'd be first overall.
your guys dislike of nick robertson is a little much if im being honest. sure he hasnt been great defensively on a line with domi(who also isnt good defensively) but hes scoring at a higher clip than knies, with less icetime and worse linemates and hes coming back from some major injuries that have severely limited his developement for the past few years. im not sure what u expect of a kid in this situation but given the circumstances, being on pace for 40 points as a rookie is pretty good(a higher pace then everyones golden child knies lol). after signing willy theres all this talk about "no room for error" with signing and prospects, yet your willing to just give up on him. makes no sense to me.

Sharks are a prime example how not to rebuild. Seems the best method would be to sign free agents for maybe 20 percent higher than average to a yr or two contract. Trade for assets at deadline and hold 50 percent and tank from deadline on.

I have a feeling that in a few years I'll be looking at Nic Robertson scoring 25 to 30 goals a season, but on another team. I've been watching the Leafs so long, and I've seen this rerun a few times.
