Wallstedt will become the 22nd goalie in franchise history to play a regular-season game. He’ll also become the sixth Wild-drafted goalie to play for the club, joining Josh Harding, Darcy Kuemper, Kaapo Kahkonen, Matt Hackett and Anton Khudobin.

What a list of goalies
We are oddly good at drafting goalies.
Backstrom wasn’t drafted by the Wild? Was he an UDFA or did they trade for his rights?
That’s Stanley cup champion Darcy Kuemper
I don’t know how it compares to other teams over the same period of time, but it seems pretty crazy that there have only been 22 goalies to start a regular season game for a team that is in its 23rd season.
I just want him to go out, have fun and do his thing. The result doesn’t matter right now, just get some experience
