3-2-1-0 system will work in tournaments but not in full regular season league. I'm from Finland and we have that system in place in our national League and it creates too much separation between the teams. What happens is and that some teams are giving up or playing meaningless games long before playoffs starts. I think this bad fan bases.
Can you learn to talk normally? I cant fucking tell when you end a sentence and when not. Idk if you just cant talk, or your editing is shit, but somethings got to change.
I am so excited for the potential of this league. This was all pulled together in 6 months, so they're only going to get better. They can dedicate themselves full-time to training without having to work extra day jobs. They will get to know their teammates better and learn how to work together. I can sense a lot of timidity with the players/teams right now but I know that will disappear as time goes on. Very very exciting for hockey and sport overall.
It's not the quality of play. The fact is we don't have enough time to watch our favorite team and women's hockey. Get it? The market is saturated with a better product. Prople have things to do.
I think the jailbreak goal rule wouldn't necessarily lead to the best players going on the PK, their effectiveness wouldn't be as high as 5v5, BUT situationally could be used in crucial moments of the game to try and get rid of a penalty (you're down a goal, 5 minutes to play or so, get your best players on the ice to score shorthanded and tie the game making it a 5v5 again to try and win it? something like that)
To be fair, the only time people see womenâs hockey wouldâve been international games so of course thereâs less hitting in that. Same with the men. This is a real North American professional league that still needs to market to as many fans as possible.
the PK change doesn't mean you don't have PK specialists, it just menas you don't have the brain dead "ice hockey dump the puck". In inlin hockey we don't end the PP, but you maintain posession and don't dump the puck unless a last resort.Ice hockey doens't need this rule to evolve, they just need to get over "dump and chase" hockey ideas.
As someone who has attended women's hockey games and watched many games…. its unwatchable. I watched the NYC team play in… CT. They constantly fall without contact. Passes are in slow motion. There are hits but they are few and inconsequential. Sorry but this isn't it. Master the game as is then create new rules.
Number one reason why 3 pt reg wins won't come to the NHL is because with 3 pt wins you can't compare season point totals with previous seasons with 2 pt reg wins for statistical purposes. Are there ways around it? Sure but it would be inconvenient and there's arguably not much benefit for such a drastic point change. Best thing would be 2 pts for reg and OT wins and 1 pt for shootout wins. 0 pts for the loser always. This would be closest to the point system when ties were allowed. I am against any point system that rewards points for any type of loss. Losing should never be rewarded. With this system it would prevent teams from dragging out games to OT to get the guaranteed point, encourage teams to avoid shootouts, and prevent a team from making the playoffs by losing.
3-2-1 Point system is fantastic, as well as the jailbreak PK. I cannot possibly disagree anymore with the shootout rule allowing 1 player to repeat over and over. We saw what a shitshow that was when TJ Oshie was allowed to take however many in a row for team USA. The shootout is already an abomination of the sport as it is, we don't need to make it even worse.

Jailbreak goal rule sounds awesome.
Don't like the pp rules

This will last a whole season before the sponsorship dollars dry up.

The Jailbreak rule is actually kindâve awesome.
just let the woman hit.
Why aren't they allowed to but men can? I'm not a feminist at all, but thatseems pretty sexist lol.

Now I just need to decide on my favourite team!
imagine if they made pro hockey league without hitting. that would be insane.
i hope for all the success for this league. its going to be great.

Reffing still gonna be shit
Just donât allow men to play in this league. All I ask.
Not gonna lie but this hockey is way better then the NHL today
50% of each team should be from their respective areas.
No, it has not taken the world by storm
I'd rather watch paint dry.
They were chasing the puck like mini mites. Spread out. Ugly.

If whimin want equality. Play the game the same way it is for the men. Otherwise, why watch? I have no interest in chincy hockey
